Great Overall Tape
Bought this specifically for my gravel bike - did a fair amount of research before pulling the trigger. Haven't put it through it's paces yet but very happy with what I've seen so far.

Great, Thick Bar Tape For Gravel Bike!
I installed the DSP 3.2 tape on my gravel bike about 3 weeks ago. While it’s a bit thicker than I expected, I do like the feel while on the trails. The 2.5 thickness would be a better option if you’re doing mostly road or smooth trails, but I like the extra cush for my local chunky trails. Grip is excellent too, even when wet.

Quality Product
I bought the Lizard Skins DSP bar tape V2 about a month ago. They are very comfortable and seem well made. I’m anxious to see the durability of this bar tape, as opposed to the others I have tried.

Good Tape, Not Perfect
Super tacky, even with really sweaty hands. A bit tricky to install because you can’t really stretch it like a cork tape. You can get it taut, but not really wound up. Luckily it’s really forgiving about being removed and rewrapped. The adhesive backing stays sticky but isn’t so sticky that it ruins the tape when you pull it up. The finishing tape is remarkably reusable, too. I probably pulled it off and retaped it a dozen times and it the tape sticks like new. One weird thing: I washed my bike, using some auto wash liquid and water, and it just ruined the wrap. Even after extensive rinsing the tape felt slimy and water got under the tape and it started sliding around on the bar. I ended up taking it completely off, cleaned it with some alcohol and let everything dry. I rewrapped the bars and it was the best wrap I’d gotten yet. So no harm done, but it does make me wonder what would happen getting caught out in heavy rain.
