Excellent Reel

I have had this reel for about a year and a half and I have absolutely loved it. I paired the 2000 version up with an ugly stick gx2 8 foot rod and love it.

Love My Lew's

I purchased the 2000 model, and having bought this without first handling it, due to the coronavirus lockdown, I was a little uncertain about the purchase. However, I am very happy with the size, feel and balance, when paired with a 7 foot light action St, Croix rod. Can't wait to use it on some trout or slab crappie. When it comes to reels, I'm definitely a Lew's fan.

To the reviewer above.... how in the world did you break the connection stem on a reel that's made from aluminum? Sounds like a "you" problem, not a Lew's problem.

Handle Broke

I bought this reel to throw shaky head worms. Did fine until I was in the second day of a tourney when the reel broke where it connects to rod. Into the lake it went.
