I have an older version of the Carbon Fire spinning rod and love it so I thought I would try the (medium-moderate/fast) casting rod. So far, I love it too! My first outing, I caught 15 +/-, with the largest weighing almost 7lbs, and had zero issues. I also got it on sale for $63.99, and I may go back for another.

I've never had a pole break before. The tip of this snapped off after less than 10 casts. Got a new one and it's been much better.

Really like this rod the reel seat and grip feel very similar to my jonny morris rods the rod i very sensitive rod guides are quality

Picked this one up on sale in April of this year. Used it under ten times and it broke at the fourth guide wrap down from the top. I was really bummed, but the warranty process with Lews was SUPER easy and straightforward. Now, on to the performance of the rod.... Super lightweight, comfy grip, attactive looking and truly a great budget-oriented rod. I fish a lot of St.Croix and older Falcon rods and love those, but was looking for something a little less expensive, and this one fit that bill perfectly. I threw the reel that I had on my broken rod onto an older casting rod and it just feels so clunky compared to this one. I can't wait until the replacement lands at my door. I will say that I do feel that its a bit on the slow side compared to it's rated action, so bear that in mind. My MH-Fast feels more like a MH-Med, just my opinion though. Really nice feeling rod in hand, good sensitivity and really great price.

Just my opinion so here it is. Same big bass spinner on this rod versus st Croix. Equal sensitivity. St Croix has better everything in it's rod at double price. I can afford numerous of these. I have numerous st Croix also. I prefer to beat up on these even though st Croix will take it. I have both but can afford more different versions of these even though I can afford both.

This rod is perfect for casting live bait or fishing plastic baits. It has good sensitivity, yet is sturdy enough for solid hook sets.

Recently purchased Lews Carbon fire baitcaster rod Medium action 7 ft long for use with my squarebills. I was very impressed with the action of the rod and I love the grip on the handle!⁰

Solid so far, sensitivity isn’t that of super high end rods like St. Croix, but very good for the $$. I recommend.

Love the rods no issues with great prices on a Lew's Carbon rod use both casting and spinning rods
