Truthfully, I’ve never used any sort of trekking poles on any of my trails but decided to give it a try. I researched between several brands and landed on these Leki’s. I was pleased with the weight (super light-weight aluminum) and was surprised by the design (in a good way). I bought these for the purpose of climbing Kilimanjaro and have been training with them on day hikes in the area. They hold up well, clamps dont seem to lose their grip, I don’t have to keep readjusting the height, and the grips are really comfortable.
