I Love These Shoes. My Favorite.
These are hands down my favorite climbing shoes. They are the most comfortable and have great traction. The size runs true to is a little bigger.

Perfect For Me
I really love them! I use them for indoor bouldering and top roping. I had trouble figuring out my perfect size but once I did, they fit like a glove! I wear a size 8 in street shoes and a size 9.5 in my mythos.

Not What They Used To Be, Alas.
I've climbed in these shoes and their predecessors (the purple one and the minty green ones) for decades. They really fit my feet well, and I've been willing to tolerate the la sportiva rubber (not my fav) until it's time for a resole and I can get something stickier. Unfortunately, the rubber on the eco is an order of magnitude worse than the old mythos. Even more unfortunately, when I've had the shoes re-soled they delaminate in the mid foot between the lining and the sole so that the shoe bubbles up uncomfortably in in your forefoot. This has happened with two different pairs at two different resolers (both with excellent reputations), and the resolers say that this is a known problem for them. So as much as I love the fit of these shoes I can’t justify tossing them every six months when it is time to resole, especially when the native rubber is so bad.

The Creek Ate Your New Shoe.
Pretty upset with the durability of the Eco leather. I bought a brand new pair before my trip to Indian Creek to do some crack climbing for a week and the sand stone ate four lace loops and shredded the laces. I get that crack climbing if rough on shoes but I was three days in my trip with a brand new pair. They are still grate shoes for face climbing and the gym but I can say the same for rugged Trad anymore. The shoes are practically useless till I find a way to fix the lace loops.

Lives Up To Their Reputation
A climber friend of mine was raving about her old school Mythos, saying they were still her all-around favorites even as she's 'leveled up' in experience. As a newbie looking for my first shoes, I was concerned by how uncomfortable many of what I tried on were, but figured it was a necessary evil. However, once I tried the Mythos, I knew they were perfect. The lacing system all the way to the toe and around the heel made these fit like foot gloves. Sold.
