Bought these in May, wore them around casually to break them in, but they didn’t need a break in, they were really comfortable out of the box. Very comfortable! So, put them away till a backpacking trip to the WRR in WY in late September. Very first shallow stream crossing noticed one boot was not waterproof. Over the next 7 days hiked through some light snow, frosty vegetation & more shallow creek crossings. During this the leather absorbed a lot of water around the toe box and would not dry out. The inside of the boots would dry out in the afternoon sun, but not the leather. They were still comfy, lightweight, & performed great despite being a little leaky and I figured I could treat the leather later to solve the problem of it absorbing so much water. After the trip I put them away for about a month & then decided to wear them on a hike near home the other day. Discovered that while they were sitting in the closet some sort of material inside the toe box of each boot warped and folded into very hard and sharp folds that dig into the top of my toes rendering them ruined. Tried “unfolding” whatever this stuff is from the inside by pushing on it with my fingers but it won’t budge. Hoping I can return them since I got maybe 2 weeks of total wear time out of them.

I bought my original pair of these boots 3 years ago. They are ultra light on my feet and required very minimal breaking in. I hiked countless miles through rain, snow, and mud and they never leaked. If you hike a lot in snow or cold weather, I would recommend a different boot. I live in the south so these were perfect for all other conditions. Finally getting a new pair to start the process all over again.

I recently took a hiking trip to Norway in my La Sportiva Nulcleo GTX boots. They were easy to break-in prior to the trip and performed beautifully in a variety of conditions in Norway - from rock fields, to ice, to downpours that turned the trails into streams. My feet stayed dry and traction was great in all conditions. La Sportiva's run narrow for my feet so I had to get a wide model which I normally don't have to do.

Great boot, true to size, comfortable right out of box. I wore this around the house for a few days and then took it out on an overnight hike with no issues. Good lace system. GTX worked just fine. I like the rubber toe and heel counters on rocky terrain. Good Vibram soles. Too soon to rate durability

These are first impressions only, I haven't been able to wear them on a hike yet. Out of the box these boots are extreemley light weight which will be nice on long hikes. Sizing is tricky. These boots only have U.K. sizes with no equivalent chart in U.S. sizes. Once I decuphered what length I needed, e erything was fine...ALMOST... I've never had a wide shoe in my entire life, until NOW. All.I can say is that they must have very narrow feet in Italy. I first got regular wide and they were extrremley tight all around. I knew that was too much to expect the boot to stetch so I returned them and ordered the same length only this time in wide, they fit like a.dream. So save yourself the hassel of a return and just order wide up front, you'll need it.

Very good shoes, my dad loved them. They are super light and waterproof. Also, the shoes have really good grip on the bottom. Would recommend the product to everyone.

These boots are taking me up Kilimanjaro in February. I’ve tested them out in the mountains of Colorado and they hit the spot. They are lighter weight than the prior boots I had. Comfort was there the first time I put them on. True to size. I know they’re going to get me to the summit and back!

This is a very light weight pair of boots that I got women and men versions for myself and my husband. Super good quality with durability. Not getting hot in there because of its ventilation system. I like the mens color better.

I purchased these boots after researching online and reading mostly positive comments, decided to make the plunge. Super comfortable, flexible but with a rugged sole. Would recommend this product. Hike on!

I bought these boots for a fall Elk hunting trip. I was amazed at how light they felt on my feet and required almost no break in time. I can’t wait to trek through the mountains with these awesome boots on!

By far the best upper lace hooks on the market. They are ergonomically placed and have a positive connection that holds your laces firmly in place. Only had them for a month so will review again in 6 months. My boots last at the most a year no matter the quality. And I've worn them all from keens to Asolos to vasque.

About 20 miles on them now with solid 8k elevation gain - they’ve done a great job breaking in and keeping water out! We will see how the laces hold up. Foot bed is a little narrower than expected but I’m sure the leather will give a little for perfect fit!

I have wide feet ordered a12.5, Usually wear a12. The first thing I noticed when I took out of box is how very lite weight they were. Very comfortable
