When You Want Perfection!
Purchased a pair Akyra La Sportiva's to do rough trail running with my GSPs. These "sneaks" are the best supportive and surefooted I've ever slipped on - and I've had all the major brands! If you wanna smile - give 'em a try!! Can't envision ever straying from these!!

Excellent Shoes
I'm on my second pair, absolutely love them! Other shoes I've had in the past don't last half as long as the Sportiva's. I only hope they continue to make them for a long time!

Great All Around Hiker
4th pair of these shoes. Very stable with tank like durability. Only thing missing is a rock plate, can get foot fatigue on rough rocky terrain. I'm a Clydesdale 6'4" 230lbs tried other brands Hoka, Salomon etc. and aren't nearly as durable.

Awesome Shoe!
Great fit, outstanding support and cushioning! The tread is aggressive and holds the trail really well! Even the sole was well thought out with a slightly higher toe to give you a better approach angle when going uphill.

Steady In All Terrain
It says something when someone buys something a second time. My first pair was solid over hundreds of miles of New Hampshire granite. Alas, after two seasons in the White Mountains, they began showing their age. It was time. But it was also natural to get another pair. Great traction as I bounded across the summit of the Presidential range (when Mt Washington is called "the old rock pile", that should tell you something) or across dirt trails that were covered with pine needles. These have been my go-to shoes for the warmer months, without question. My only gripe is the sizing isn't consistent with my other shoes. I usually wear about a size 43, but in these, I need to go half a size up.

Great Trail Runner/hiking Shoe!
Great support for light hiking boot. Versatile in that I can run in them if I need to. Runs small and I had to size up 1/2 size. I did not find them to be excessively narrow as others mentioned La Sportivas can be. Thumbs up!

Great Support And Extremely Comfortable
Had these for about a month now. I use them mostly for trail walking\sprints. One of the best trail running shoes I have owned. Comfortable and awesome support.
These do run small. I normally wear 10.5 US, and got these in 11US.
