Installed the locks on my Transfer rack and took a roadtrip to the San Juan Islands. Everything worked as expected. I like the one key for all bike locks and Hitch. Was the first time out for the rack and was very pleased with it's performance also. Very stable. Checked every hundred miles or so just to be safe.

The lock set was easy to install (about a 10 minute job) and all of the tools necessary were included. There are no dust covers for the locks as shown in the pictures, so the keyholes are exposed all of the time. So far this has not been a problem and the locks continue to work without issue. The cables are quite short though, and will not wrap all the way through the frame on some of my bikes. There is enough cable to wrap around the fork arch though so the bikes are still relatively secure. Because the cables are often quite tight against the frame or fork, I don't drive with the locks on for fear of damaging the finish on my frame. The cables seem strong but are still just cables. A determined thief could cut the cables without too much difficulty or specialized tools. The system works well for short stops (gas station, grocery store, etc.) but I suggest supplementing with sturdier U-locks for longer-term situations or in high theft areas.

We have finally found an easy to use rack that offers security as well. Quick and easy to lock bikes. Doesn't do damage to the frame and fits around the tire and frame. Easy to use and worth every penny.
