Nice, Sturdy Bike Rack
The box is large and heavy. Assembly was not too difficult.
On my 2023 CR-V hybrid, the rack does not block the tail lights or license plate when folded up. It does, however, interfere with the rear parking sensors on the car, and the car wants to slam on the brakes when I'm backing up. I think I may have found the setting to fix that... (Not the rack's fault!)
It is nice that the rack tilts down. With no bikes on, I can open the hatch with the rack in the flat position. With bikes loaded, I have to tilt it down to access the hatch but it works. The lever to change the position is quite stiff, so I have trouble lowering it when loaded, but my husband was able to do it.
I have a rear racks and tail light on my beach bike. I had to remove the tail light and fiddle with the tire size settings on the rack arms to get them to hold the beach bike, but it worked and the rack carried our bikes securely on the ~5 hour drive to the beach last week.
So far, I quite like the rack. My bikes felt secure and it looks nice on the car. The lights are cool and it gives the brakes/turn signals just a bit more visibility when the bikes are loaded, which is nice. It is expensive though, and I wish the release lever was just a smidge easier to operate.

Easy To Use, Well Constructed
Seems like a quality product. Works well and has nice features. Disappointed though that Kuat changed the electrical connection. It no longer has the convenient magnetic connector. Instead, they now have a pigtail wire that dangles out the front. Company says its for better connectivity but seems like it probably cheaper to manufactur.
