Damaged Pot

Buyer beware!!! Ordered on line for store pickup and got home to set it up and the pot was damaged!!! Very disappointed

Good Enough

The pot that comes with these kits as well as most other kits is not made to Last and will most likely only last 1-2 turkey cooking’s. I recommend having a back up pot just in case. You don’t want to go to cook on thanksgiving only to find your chintzy pot that came with your kit has tiny holes and won’t hold oil. That’s what happened to me after only 2 uses. Let me tell you the posts are next to impossible to source on thanksgiving day and for the most part most places don’t keep them in stock. So best to have a backup b4 turkey day. I recommend finding and ordering a good quality pot online. Just make sure to do your research so you get the right size and one that’s well rated. Also you’ll need charged up batteries as most won’t last from year to year depending on how they are stored. Other than that this kit will serve you for a long time.

Exactly As Advertised

I got this for Christmas and used it that night to fry a turkey. It worked great!

Worked Once

I bought this and used it for heating water once. I went to use it for Thanksgiving, and when I turned it on to heat up, it burned holes in the thin bottom of the pot.
