Terrible

This is a piece of garbage. Received it today Aug. 1 , went out for a hike, bottom part collapsed 1/2 way thru the hike would not lock in place, locking mechanism just turned and turned. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this product.

It Serves Its Purpose

I'm not into trail running or so. I just need a trekking pole for hiking and to set up a tent. This trekking pole is just the right one for me.

Good Pole For Hiking Peaks

I've used this pole to hike Baden Powell, San Gorgonio, and San Jacinto peaks. So far so good. It does what I expect it to. Easy to use. I haven't used other poles before so I don't know how this compares to others, but I'm happy with it and hope to keep using it for a while. The only downside is that at its shortest length, it's not small enough to fit in my pack (versus a foldable pole) but that's not an issue for me since I can still attach it to the outside of my pack.
