Took 2 of these car camping for the first time this weekend in an effort to save space. We normally take a popup for shade. Combined with a 12' Noah's tarp, the setup held up well in light winds. Adjustability came in handy as our site was on a bit of a slope. Not sure they would work well in soft sand unless you had the right stakes.

Lightweight And Sturdy

Used a few times and it has so far held up well! It’s lightweight but sturdy at the same time. The only concern I have is the wire inside that keeps it together. It still looks fine but I wonder how it will fare in the long run. I have another telescopic pole but it doesn’t pack up as small as this one (and it’s heavier.) A little pricey compared to some other cheaper brands, but you are paying for quality.
