Hurray For Shoes That Fit!

I currently have several pairs of Keen footwear that I love but never thought to look to them for athletic shoes. I am sure glad that I did because these fit well, are comfortable and supportive. I will say hands down the best shoes I've tried and I have tried a lot. My feet thank you!

So Far Great.

Purchased just before a trip to Australia. Was comfortable right away and fit well. Soles had good traction on rocks. I like the attached tongue since it keeps dirt, rocks and plant debris from getting inside my shoe.

Keen Women's Tempo

I like the shoe but wish there was a pull loop on the heel to make it easier to get on. With the fixed tongue, I need a shoe horn to help me get into them.

Product Review

ALWAYS love KEEN footwear - this one fit just fine, however, looking for a more summery breathable design. I knew it was waterproof, but wanted to try the style. Nice and lightweight!

I Changed My Mind

I thought I needed to return these in the beginning! It was cutting in to the area just below the toes. After a walk around, it was not an issue. After a hike with muddy trails and even in to a creek, I was hooked! Comfortable, good support and light.

The Fixed Tongue Is The Greatest Feature.

I see so many complaints about the fixed tongue on this shoe. It's obvious from the pictures that the shoe has a fixed tongue. It's the greatest feature of this hiking shoe. Anyone who's done any real hiking in a sandy, gravely, or otherwise dirty environment knows that the fixed tongue keeps debris from falling into your shoe. Keen has mastered this and the shoe does it's job perfectly and sticks to your foot amazingly, supporting you in a hiking environment. Just learn how to put it on correctly. It's not a problem, and it's an amazing feature. Please Keem, read this review and don't do away with these shoes just because of people who can't figure them out.

Ok

I had to return the shoes. The tongue wouldn’t open enough to let my high instep get through. I couldn’t tell this from the description offered on line.

Disappointed In The Newer Style

This is the 4th pair I bought of this model hiker, but the updated model is less to be desired. Unfortunately, the redesign causes a bulky area at the bottom of the laces and when you try to tighten it the material is too hard to allow you to so there is not a good fit.

Great Shoes For Bad Feet.

Some reviewers complain that it's hard or impossible to get feet in the shoes. This puzzles me. Loosening the shoe strings takes 10 seconds and then my feet slide in easily. The comfort of the shoes makes it well worth the time it takes.

Great

This is a very great shoe. They help my back & knees. I walk about 4 miles & I have no problem with these shoes. They fit great & feel great on my arch. I love them.

Love Keen Shoes But These Were Too Flat For Me

Always found Keen shoes/walking boots exceptionally comfortable, reliable and robost. However, these were too flat for me to walk comfortably in. I returned to swap for the Ridge Flex that are far better shaped for my feet.

Horrible Shoes

I've been wearing Keens for 15 years. I hate to be negative about a great brand/shoes, with that the Women's Tempo were so uncomfortable and narrow I could not wear but 30 minutes before taking them off and requesting a return.

Comfortable But...

The shoe is comfortable, but I find them quite difficult to get on as the tongue is fixed. Think they may be a bit warm for the summer.

Love These Shoes

I bought these for my first mountain hike in South Korea. They are super comfortable. I will recommend them to everyone I know.

Not My Fav's!

I hoped to love these shoes. In general they were fine but had a roomier fit than my other Keens. I generally wear a 10.5. It was immediately clear that the fit was not as good as my other favorite Keens. I think the 'Flex' area adds a bit of unneeded extra space that affects the fit. The toe bumper on these shoes is a very thin coating that started to rub off in spots after only a few wears. I contacted Keen directly with my issues and was offered a full refund with my return.
