Still Comfortable, But Quality Continues To Decline

Quality is not what it used to be when I started buying Keens. I’m still a buyer because alternatives are limited, but would never recommend to anyone.

No Cushion

Boot is durable but lacks cushion had to change insole with keen k20 insoles huge improvement boots were killing my feet my lower back and knees for the price boots should come with k20 insoles

Boss Boots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put these on as soon as they arrived, and been wearing them since. I had been wearing San Jose for three years. This is a significant upgrade. Triple black with subtle accents looks so boss. These are real grip soles with an arch. No more flat foot shuffling. The lacing system is new to me, and works perfectly. No more eyelets, and the laces are much happier to perform. They seem to be alive. I can lace loose (relatively) or snug, depending on my groove, and the boot still moves with my foot, not off my foot. Its as if the body was engineered to suit multiple foot types, not giving up a true fit. Getting these on and off is not a chore. The toe box is perfect, and the toe flex outstanding. So glad I decided to change my style. Big 'Ups' to Keen. I absolutely love my new boss boots.

Just Bought My 2nd Pair!

I just bought my 2nd pair of Targhee Hiking Boots and love them! I hike all kinds of terrain and these boots hold up and are very comfortable. I hike here in Iowa and also in Arizona, and they perform great in both places. Mostly going into the desert in Arizona, I really need a boot that will hold up, be comfortable and protect my feet from the harsh conditions that I usually encounter. Keen makes a great product, with high quality and recycled materials. That's my kind of company!

Perfect Fit, Comfortable

My wife is a USPS letter carrier and she walks 10+ miles a day in all weather conditions in the city and rural. A supportive and comfortable shoe is a must and her uniform requires her to wear black. These are a perfect fit and very comfortable for all day wear. She’s tried other brands but they all hurt her feet. Even though they are men’s, they fit perfectly, just get the size equivalent. Great support and gives her endurance for all day. these shoes are the only ones she can wear. Also they really are waterproof and great traction, excellent support. She did buy a specific insole that she prefers (timberland brand) but the ones that come with them are decent so she keeps them as a backup. I’ll definitely get her another pair, very happy

Warm And Waterproof

I work at a local ski area where I’m on my feet for many hours a day in snow, rain, and cold. These boots were warm and amazingly waterproof. I didn’t expect a lace-up boot to be perfectly waterproof, but they didn’t leak for the entire ski season. I recommend them over rubber boots like Bogs that made my get sweaty and cold.

Uncomfortable

There is a lump on the left side, bottom of the tongue that presses into the arch on the top of my foot. It becomes very painful in short order. I need to move the tongue off to the side and this helps. Also a large band aid on the top of my foot also helps. Other than that, they are comfortable.

So Far So Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these boots to wear for work— I’m a barista in a mobile coffee cart (16-foot camper) that parks in a gravel lot which is often muddy, snowy, or icy except in summer. I needed traction plus support and waterproof. My old Keen hiking boots (3-ish years old, not as many miles on them as they probably should have had) started making my feet hurt after a 5-hour shift. Being pregnant, I knew I needed something more supportive to be able to keep working. Unfortunately, it’s been too cold and snowy the past week or so to work, so I only really got to try them out for a week. But they kept me safe and comfortable and my feet didn’t hurt or feel tired and unsupported even when wearing the boots all day. I got the black because they are more trendy and versatile and I won’t be wearing them for much actual hiking. Since they’re more neutral, I even wore them to church with a dress yesterday. For reference, I’m a woman but can’t usually find boots in my size in women’s. I got a 10 based on my last pair and they fit just right.
