New Keen’s Targhee

I am appreciative that they are now water proof as I live in Seattle and walk my dog daily, rain or shine. The one thing that every pair of Keen’s I’ve owned have in common and I wish could be addressed, is that the laces being used stretch out with use. I’ve had other similar brands/styles and their laces don’t seem to stretch out like Keen’s. Other than that “issue” I love mine and just cut the laces if they get too long.

My Keen Shoes

This is my second pair of Targhee II shoes. I especially like the large toe box. The shoes are comfortable and supportive. They are my primary foot covering and I wear them everywhere,, except when I'm wearing a suit.

Best Low Hiking Boots Ever

I’ve worn these boots all over the U. S. , from the Knobstone Trail in Indiana to Fairytale Falls in Yellowstone, Wyoming. These boots are awesome. I’ve put over 200 miles in them across some pretty rough terrain and they perform well. I like the tread on them, it’s best for dirt/mud, and the waterproofing is great, assuming you don’t go too deep and it comes in from the top. They are very comfortable and I have less issued with getting blisters in these compared to other hiking boots. I prefer the low Target II’s over the Targhee IV’s. They seem to have a different sole, but I’ve had nothing but success with them.
