Poor Perfomance
I've had these shoes for a few months now and although they were great at the beginning, now I am starting to have an issue with them. At first, I thought it was the insole and replaced it, but I continue to have the same issue. The issue with the shoe is that it feels like the sole of the shoe is so thin that your feet get tired very quickly. I work outdoors all day and I am on my feet. I bought these shoes because of the toe protection they had and their looks. Knowing that it's made by Keen so I took a chance. In the last few days, I've grown tired of using them and I've set them aside, most likely to go to the trash (leaning in this direction) or donation (Although I would hate to give them to someone else to have the same issue). I've had Keen hiking boots in the past and I love wearing them, but these shoes needs to be rethought. There are some issues with the design.

Poor Sole
I have been wearing these shoes to work for two months now. At first I loved them as they are very comfortable if your standing on carpet all day but lately I have been outside on concrete which is where they don’t do so well. The sole is extremely thin and you can feel every pebble or imperfection on the ground. I have a bruised heel from these shoes from walking on gravel and don’t wear them to work any longer. I would not recommend these for work, sitting around the house yes but why have a safety toe for that.

Comfortable But Needs Quality Improvement!
This is by far the most comfortable work shoe i have ever worn. There is only one problem. There is a quality issue. I am on my 2nd pair of these shoes. I had to make a warranty claim on the 1st pair. As the material on the inside back of the heel wore out in just under 3 months of wearing the shoe. Keen was kind enough to replace the shoes for free. So I thought I would try them again and bought the same shoes thinking that might have been an isolated incident. Now i am barely into my 2nd month of the second pair and... its happening again! This should not happen after just 2 months in a work shoe. Great shoe but poor quality material in the back of the heel. If Keen would fix this issie, I would buy this shoe again.

Ecellent quality, comfortable and the anti static works flawlessly. Would have rated 5 if there was a steel toe version.

Love These Shoes!
Best part honestly is that these come in wide. I wear them all day at work in an automotive shop and will definitely be buying another pair once these wear out.

They’ll Work.
I purchased my Keen work shoes because my employer started requiring them. I usually just wear tennis shoes at work. The keen shoes I purchased were true to my usual size, they didn’t run large or small. They are not as comfortable as regular tennis shoes, they could use more cushion for comfort. Also I noticed that from day 1 the plastic loops for the shoelace holes were all falling out, not sure if they’re suppose to be removable or if it’s just poor workmanship or design.

Good Solid Safety Shoe
Good fit, comfortable. Was able to put them on and go, no worry about strange fit or needing to break in. Average weight, not too heavy but not life-changing light either. That said, I feel like these are going to last a while, longer than the super light-weight ones on the market now. Only time will tell for sure.

Disappointed
They are sized small, and when we received the lace eyelet (on the shoe) was undone. Poor quality control! Plus, you cant make an exchange, you have to process a return and then reorder.

Out-of-the-box Comfort
I've worn steel toes for decades as a regular thing. But, summer calls for lighter weight shoes and I gave the aluminum toe a try. I read of the intention of the shoe to help those of us on concrete floors. No lie - straight up comfort, all day long.

Surprisedly Comfortable
I work on my feet a minimum of 8 hours a day in a shop building cabinets and millwork.I always look for something comfortable that if need be I can stand in for hours at a time sometimes in the same spot. These shoes are roomy and feel good when you walk,I can definitely feel the sole relieve the shock. So far so good!

Probably The Best Work Shoes For Those Working In Industrial Factories
On my feet on oil covered concrete all day. Very few companies out there making durable, slip resistant shoes for factory machinists. This is the second pair of Keens I have purchased. The first pair lasted over a year, my only complaint with those were the thin sole that just wasn't comfortable, with the recent purchase, keen has stepped up some, but needs a little more heel padding, that's probably my only complaint with these shoes so far. But really, that will probably be my only compalaint, I see no quality issues with these shoes at all. They are well built and will probably last just as long as my first pair of Keen's

What a great shoe it was hard to decide to try another shoe when I have been through so many other Keen Detroit's. But I'm so glad I did and I really wanted a lighter shoe to walk the warehouse in out on the concrete floors. I even did the recommended size charge which was a little under what size I normally wear and it fits great. Just as comfortable as my other Keen's once I broke them in for a few days. I will defiantly purchase them again!
