[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It gives different measurements if you hold it slightly differently. I would have to take an average of multiple measurements to have reasonable confidence in the accuracy, but I still find it useful for deciding which canisters to combine.

Many would find this to be a “luxury l” on the trail. However, I am planning to do the Long Trail in Vermont. It will require me to re-supply many times. I would rather lug around a couple extra ounces with the peace of mind knowing I have enough fuel to eat. I don’t want to risk running out of fuel, only to find I might have several days before a re-supply. I enjoy eating way too Much for that!

Got this before a 5 day hike with a friend. Because it was her first ever overnighter over a single night, I wanted to reassure her big packing fears, one of which was running out fuel. Sadly the gauge would only show percentages for 450g canisters, while we would be hiking with 100g ones. I tried holding down the power button to switch what canister size the gauge was reading for, and instead it decided to become a simple scale and has refused to change settings again since.

I absolutely love this! It's compact and easy to use. I am often in remote areas where it's important to know exactly how much fuel I have left. Very grateful to have this!

Not accurate, gets a different reading on the same bottle. Used a bottle for 5 days cooking all my meals with it and the gauge still shows 100%

Our expectations for the JetGauge were very different than what we received, I should have read the reviews more thoroughly. Please know the Jet Gauge does not measure the pressure of fuel left in the can, the Jet Gauge is a weight-based best guess electronic device. Our needs will also vary between the 100g and 250g fuel canisters when traveling, camping, or hiking so please ensure you select the correct fuel cell size before you weigh the fullness of remaining fuel. Once you have the correct size selected you will need to thread the mount to the can, lift by the electronic gauge, and see where the percentage finishes if you have a steady hand.

Saved us from taking an almost empty canister on a camping trip because we could tell there was only 1% fuel left.

I get a different result for the same canister every time. Concerns me that this is just a gimmick and not really a reliable tool.
