Keeps Drinks Cold

Bought two of these coolers. The first one I have for work, I do construction and travel from Florida all the way to New York, I was shocked how well it keeps ice with the heat with the cooler usually staying in direct sun the whole time. Of course with the so much sun exposure the color fades but as long as it keeps the drinks cold it’s not a problem for me.

Abysmal Ice Retention.

Abysmal ice retention. We're talking a full cooler, fresh ice, within 24 hours it's ¾ water and small bits of ice, by day two it's warm and all water.

Rubber Latches Only Last Two Years

I was initially ecstatic with the purchase of my IGLOO IMX 70qt cooler. I am satisfied with the ice retention of the cooler, but dissatisfied with the quality of the rubber T-Latches. We use the cooler for 7-day camping trips on our boat and typically only need to add one more bag of ice towards the end of our trips. Within two years of purchasing, one of the rubber latches broke, then soon after the second latch broke. I was able to get replacements at the time and started to cover the cooler to protect it from the sun. It's now two years later and one of the latches broke again. The part is not cheap, and having to replace both every other year will outweigh the price of the cooler. Currently the part is out of stock so not able to replace it at this time. I may need to consider other brands.

Discontinued

I absolutely love my cooler! Only thing was the hinges are beginning to fail and the lid comes off. I am absolutely upset that they have discontinued this cooler. I can’t get it replaced unless I choose a different cooler when I just want my mix 70! It is a solid cooler that I used all the time. I really wish they would keep making them because they are probably the best cooler igloo has made

Get Working On Replacement Parts

I love my cooler but hate after 2 years I can’t get parts for it. The rubber latch is bad and they know it. That’s why we can’t get new ones.

I'm impressed with the quality of this IMX Series Cooler... This is for our vessel on the water. 25 Ft Center Console. It fits under the Leaning Post or Captain's Chair. I did not actually get a chance to use it. But I can see the quality of the craftsmanship on how well its built. Captain Michael

Best Big Cooler Out There

I bought my 1st 2 months ago and it was just what I was looking for, perfect size for the trunk of my 08 Civic LX (it ain't moving an inch, trust that!), holds enough for my son and I for a week and stays with ice for at least 8 days (using 2 blocks and filling in the gaps with cube/chip ice) with multiple openings. It actually surpassed my Tundra 45 on ice retention, plus the IGLOO latches are way better as well as the handles!

I bought this cooler and it is by far, hands down the best cooler I’ve ever owned when it comes to ice retention and I live in SE Texas. Oddly, just 4 years later, the cable handle broke but when I called to order another one I was informed that they were not replaceable. But, not to worry because they sent me a brand new replacement just 5 days later. They also told me to just toss the old one (but it still held ice like day one). They stand by their products and warranty.
