I’m so glad HydroFlasks makes extra caps and sells them separately because sometimes they get lost and then you can’t really use the bottle. This cap actually worked for a non-brand bottle and it was helpful to have the measurements in the product description.

I live on the beach in a very harsh climate and when the lid strap on my favorite water bottle broke—nothing lasts long here —I looked on the back of my bottle and found the type and model . The Hydroflask search bar worked immediately and before I knew it, I had a replacement lid on the way. Hydroflask also sent tracking and a follow up email. What a great company!

It keeps my drinks cold all day and still has ice in the bottle at end of day. I like the newer design from the original and I like the handle on it for better carrying. Nice design

It does the job. However, I wish I could buy only the flexible strap because that is all that was broken on my existing cap assembly. I suppose the hardware to hold on the strap must be assembled by a special machine. For the sake of the environment and repairability, I’d like to see a redesign that allows replacement of the flexible strap as that piece will break within years but the cap could last well beyond 10 years.
