I Love My Hoka Clifton 11s

I walk 2 - 4 miles a day and these are the most comfortable walking sneakers. I dont have a wide foot but i sized up 1/2 size as opposed to what the size guide recommended and they fit perfectly.

Disappointed With Durability

Title: Disappointed with Clifton 11 durability I purchased my Clifton 11s directly from HOKA, not Dick’s Sporting Goods, but wanted to share my experience to help other potential buyers. After only approximately 50 days of use (roughly 150–200 miles of walking), holes began developing in the interior heel lining, exposing the padding underneath. The rest of the shoe was still in good condition. I’ve owned the HOKA Clifton 7, Clifton 10, and Bondi 9, and never experienced anything like this with those models. My Clifton 10s were the same size and width, worn with the same socks and under similar conditions, without any heel lining issues. I filed a warranty claim with HOKA, but it was denied as normal friction-related wear. Even after requesting a reconsideration, HOKA upheld the denial without adequately addressing how quickly the damage occurred. My claim was ultimately closed. For a shoe at this price point, I expected significantly better durability. I’ve been happy with previous HOKA models, which makes this experience particularly disappointing. Based on my experience with the Clifton 11, I would hesitate to recommend this model.
