Review Of Hoka Challenger 7 (Pre-camino Use)

I picked up the Hoka Challenger 7s to walk the Camino soon, and so far, they’ve been a great choice during training walks. They’re lightweight, super cushioned, and feel very comfortable even on longer outings. The ride is smooth, and the rocker design makes walking feel more effortless. They handle pavement, gravel, and light trails well, which is perfect for the varied terrain of the Camino. The fit is true to size, though the toe box is a bit snug—something to watch if you have wider feet. I’m feeling confident these will hold up well on the Camino itself

Tread Wears Out Shockingly Quickly

Second pair of this shoe bc I really like how they feel for walking. I didn't realize just how fast they've been wearing out - just looked at my orders and this pair is from April of this year! The tread is flat and torn up. No wonder my plantar fasciitis has been acting up! I do walk with my dog quite a bit, mostly sidewalk and some trail, but had surgery in June so was off my feet for a couple of months (plus I live in AZ so exercise inside most of the summer anyway). Very sad but will have to find a better-wearing shoe.

Attractive, Comfortable Shoes

I love the olive green color of the shoes I chose. As well as wearing sneakers for my workouts I like to wear them for more dressy occasions with pants for the comfort and support they provide. The Challenger 7 coordinated well with clothes I own.

Birthday Gift!

I got them to match a particular outfit and I was pleasantly surprised to see how well they matched! Not sure how she like them yet as far as comfort but I’m sure she will be happy. I’ve owned several pairs and I enjoy them!

Love These Shoes But...

I love these shoes and how they wear but one of the front toe lugs tore off and is tearing up the top of the shoe. I only purchased these a few months ago. Hoping HOKA warranty will be applicable
