Excellent Running Shoe!
The GTX version of the Speedgoat 5 feels slightly taller than the non-GTX version and is a bit warmer. Traction is great and I would recommend this shoe if your runs are frequently in a wet environment or snow. No complaints in cooler weather in the south but definitely not a summertime shoe unless necessary.

Awesome Shoes
Had been wearing northface shoes for years. Wife bought me hoka hiking boots for birthday and could not believe how comfortable they were.. wife wears speedgoat 5 gtx and swears by them so had to give them a try as well. Glad I did.

Soft Sole
Soles are very soft. Almost too soft to be comfortable. End of day my feet hurt.
