Straps Torn Apart Twenty Hikes. Unusable

I bought those on January 8th 2025 in a sport shop. I used once a week in January and February 2025. I used them again once a week in December 2025, January and February 2026. As of today the straps are completely torn apart at the end where they attach to the harness. Hard to believe I am the first one to whom it happens. Then, how come harness knowingly sold with those. Otherwise, very good crampons.

Well Designed And Lightweight

Received as a gift and absolutely love these, after about a year of heavy use they are still running strong! Would definitely recommend.

Great For Hikes On Snow And Ice.

I am wrapping up an extra long Ohio winter wearing these, averaging about 3 miles per day on hilly ungroomed trails. They stay firmly in place on your boots and provide traction that makes ice and snow feel like walking on dry pavement. They are easy to put on after the first couple of times.

No Clumping Of Wet Snow!

I have had these for several years now. I am a hike leader with The Bruce Trail and have recommended them to several hikers. Most have purchased them and love them as much as I do. Unlike many other styles that allow wet snow to clump up between the boot and ice, you won’t get that with these. Well worth the investment.

Very Well Made

Just received my FlexSteps today for this winter season. We live in the sticks and ice is often 2-4 inches thick. I have been using crampons for over 20 years (snow blower/shoveling) and I can see these are of excellent quality and well made spikes. Easy on, snug, well balanced and easy off. Absolutely recommend these. Look forward to using them!

Tried Others…this One Works Best

Flexsteps has been the only shoe attachment which lasted through the winter…and last winter was long and tough. Previous products broke through regular use.

Worked Great

I rented a pair when I went on a hike in icy conditions. They gave me a good grip and they were comfortable for the hike (2-3 hrs). So I decided to get my own pair for the next time I encounter those conditions.

Have Not Used Them Yet But They Look Great!

The crampons got here a little too late for our winter hiking season, but I am looking forward to trying them out come November or December
