These are great for dry tooling, mixed climbing, and warmer ice climbing days. My hands run hot, but some days in New England are quite nippy so I would say they are pretty warm. I have the Hestra Army Colouir as a warmer pair (less dexterous) for colder ice climbing days. Overall very happy and my search for a quality ice climbing glove(s) are over. The workmanship on these gloves is impeccable as well, they should last ages for a middle aged Dad climber who only gets on ice 5-7 times per year.
