Works as intended, only downside is are the flimsy handles when dealing with hot liquids

Great Cup

these are great camping cups. nalgenes fit in them nicely and they are very large making them good for beverages and soup/foods. multiuse and durable. I have 2 and have used them camping and on deployment.

What You Want!

Rugged welds on handles, sturdy construction all around, super simple. It fits nicely over nalegene water bottles which makes it a non issue for space in your pack. I recommend these to everyone. Would love a lid, especially with a strainer lip. I have some old cook ware that had lids that fit decent so I use that.

Water Boiler A+

I love these cups! They need to sell it with a lid or sell an optional lid. I drilled a small hole in each side of mine at top and attached a wire bail handle. It makes a perfect cup for minimalist camping /backpacking can cook in it, boil water, drink out of it, bath out of it. and even turn it over and use it as a rifle prop. GSI seriously make and sell a lid for this and you will sell them. Great cup for cooking over fire.

Bomber

used it for years, stick it right in the fire, thrash it, it just gets better with use

Useful For Backpacking/camping.

This cup is fantastic, I have used mine for all kinds of things from cooking pasta and heating up soup to brewing tea. It has a thick black film from being used with my DIY stick stove (a medium sized soup can with holes cut in the base, a larger opening in the side for adding sticks and a grate on top made from 2 ~5" sections of wire hanger) where I can bring water to a boil in under 5 minutes. It nests around your water bottle and the wire handle is long enough that you don't burn your hands. Much better than the kidney shaped army canteen cup IMO. All in all, well worth the price.

I own 2 of these and they slide over the bottom of my Nalgenes for great portability. A multi use item that lightens the pack without sacrificing a tool.

Light weight, easy for camping and backpacking, and perfect for morning coffee on the trail.

It's The Civilian Version Of A Canteen Cup But A Little Smaller

fits on under a nalgene, you can cook or drink from it. It's a do all anywhere cup. fire, stove whatever.

What I’ve Been Waiting For!

This is a very simple bottle cup - very little to go wrong and not much to break. For years I’ve used my military canteen cup, it’s been with me nearly every time I travel. I’ve brought it camping, on military exercises, to hotels, and to hostels. The only problem with that canteen cup is that it fits a canteen. The GSI cup, on the other hand, fits both my Nalgene and my 40oz Klean Kanteen. The build quality is also better than my old canteen cup - cleaner edges, better finish, etc. This cup is great for an emergency kit, or just for having a cup that packs easily with your water bottle. Everyone who camps should have one. I got the 24 oz cup.

Classic

Cant go wrong with this little cup/pot. Fits around my nalgene like expected.

Great Addition To Solo Cookset

Great for heating liquids and nests perfectly with a Stanley Adventure Cook Set. The Stanley lid also fits the cup perfectly to shorten heating times which saves fuel on the trail. It's my go-to cook set when camping or hunting.

Does Just What I Bought It For!

I purchased this to replace the cup on a SVEA 123 stove and it fits perfectly. Now the stove has a cup as part of the set just like it's supposed to. This is a very well made cup and the folding handles are great too.

Basic Mug For Basic Needs

Basic, affordable and durable, this stainless steel mug is also suitable as a mini pot. Smartly sized to stow common cylindrical items (fuel canisters, 1L bottles) inside to maximize pack space. Handle collapses as expected for backpacking. Not the most lightweight option if you're pinching grams, but for most people this is really all you need to bring along with your food supply, stove, and spork.

As Described, But A Little Small

I bought this a few weeks ago. Have not used it but it seems solid and light. It was smaller than I though it was going to be, but it will boil 1.5 cups of water which is around the amount one needs for dehydrated meals.
