Slick 50

I bought this a month ago and so far so good it charges my yeti 120 and so far it’s been pretty slick 50!

Trash, Don't Waste Your Money.

Garbage, not worth the materials it's made of. Won't charge anything. In direct sunlight, won't produce more than 8 watts, and it's terribly inconsistent. No clouds? Doesn't matter, 8 watts for a few seconds, then 0, then 6, then 8 again. Thats using the 8mm output hooked to a Yeti 500. Using USB, my phone (25 Ultra) lost charge percentage points. No apps running, nothing. This thing is trash. Connected to my Venture75, same thing. It shows it's connected to power, but will not charge. Waste of time, and money. Should be discontinued.

Has One Usb Port, And One 8mm For Piggy Backing

I bought the nomad 20 a month ago. I am happy with it’s performance. Its light weight and compact a little bigger than my 10 inch ipad. Charges quickly

Huge Disappointment--doesn't Charge As Advertised

We bought this to recharge a Venture 75 power bank. We're very happy with the Venture 75 but this solar panel is a dud. We were expecting a charging time of 7-14 hours as indicated in the booklet, but after 10 hours on a sunny day the power bank wasn't even 1/4 full. It takes all day just to charge a single cell phone. We've discussed the possibility of chaining another solar panel or two to the one we have to make charging viable, but I think the money would be better spent on more power banks or trying a different brand of solar panel.

Can’t Keep Up

I have tried to use this a couple times and just go back to the older model that I have. It won’t charge the iPhone 15 Pro Max over night as I sleep camping. It just doesn’t push enough power. It doesn’t seem to hold a charge either. My other older unit is way better in my mind and functions better. I been using the AC with a bigger power phone charger. I think this newer model isn’t worth buying but we all have an opinion.

Disappointing

I have multiple Goal Zero products, and they have workedfine. I recently bought a yeti 200x, it seemed to work fine. I just bought a Nomad 20. Connected via the 8mm jack, to the yeti 200. The yeti is a 45%, it been in full sunlight for over 8 hours. And is still at 45%. I have a solid Blue "charge" lite. I checked on the internet to see if I'm doing something wrong. I see about 20 articles, with other customers having the same issue. Question, how do you sell a solar panel that will not charge your own device. I'm getting ready to return the solar panel. But I'm very disappointed. From the articles on the internet, it appears the issue has been going on since January 2024

Easy Way To Recharge Small Power Packs

Purchased this for my son to take to college with him so he can keep his Sherpa 100 charged in a power outage. Did the same for my daughter. The 20 is built well and works great to keep smaller power packs charged. I have one and it has worked great over the years.

Disappointed

I bought this to recharge my Sherpa 100PD. After being in the sun 2 days, 12 hours both days in direct sun (on cloudless days), it only recharged the Sherpa 25%. It might be OK for a phone, but not for what I needed.

Not Hitting The Power I Need

Trying to use this to help maintain my goal zero 300. It’s maxing out at 7W. I would at least expect 10-15 in direct perfect sunlight.

Works But Pretty Heavy!

The panel works but it is very heavy for a portable panel. I have to decide weather I'm taking my sherpa battery or the panel because both are to much on an expedition. On Everest in full sun it only charges at 8w therefore it takes quite a while to fill the battery

Too Expensive For Poor Performance

I bought this a year ago and have been using it to charge portable batteries while camping. Some things it charges normally like my big batteries. Anything smaller sized like my phone or smaller power batterIes takes FOREVER to charge even in strong sunlight. Also a major design flaw with the folding panel is that the creases where the folds are always want to swing shut when it’s cold. I have to pry them open with rocks and sticks to keep it from constantly closing until the sun warms it up enough to loosen the plastic creases enough to stay open. Bottom line: don’t waste your money on expensive poor quality goal zero products. Spend less on something better quality.

Everglades Expedition

I used Goal Zero for a 1,500-mile, 75-day solo canoe and kayak expedition. (PaddleQuest 1500) The equipment performed so well that I upgraded for a recent Everglades circumnavigation expedition. Keeping the Venture 75 on charge all day, even with filtered sunlight gave me the juice necessary to keep navigation, communication and lights topped off. It’s good to venture into the wilderness confident in my essential equipment!

Charges My Nomad In About 6 Hours!

If it's been folded up for a while it's kind of hard to unfold and use other than that it's genuine goal zero quality.

Don't Buy Folding Solar Panels

2nd one in less than one year garbage waste of money

Robust Solar Charger

Really love Goal Zero products. Have had the Nomad 10 for several years now. Great quality and usability. Bout this one for a step-up in power. Really like the feel and sturdiness of this panel. Folds up nicely and is about the size of a standard notebook. Lots of great cord types on the back. My only knock is that it feels a bit heavy.
