This panel is well built and the carrying case is a nice touch. Unfortunately the power rating is overstated by at least 25%. Even with the MPPT module, clear day, 75 F, 50 degree sun angle the maximum output is 68 watts. If GoalZero support wants to reach out and let me know how to improve the output, I am open to suggestions. I have the same issue with the 50 watt panel.

Originally purchased this unit for a Yeti 500. Best output I've gotten from it (based on Yeti display) is just over 90W. Today, June 7th, at 4pm US/Central in Dallas TX, on a full sun day (no clouds at all) I am getting 71W. BUT, I also recently purchased a Nomad 100 because the Boulder is so heavy. While the Boulder is providing 71W, the Nomad is providing 38W. As I have checked during different conditions, the Nomad seems pegged at a hair over 50% of the output of the Boulder (panels sitting side by side for the comparison). I will probably keep the Nomad as I got it on sale, and it's still something for camping to charge phone, etc, but it doesn't not match the Boulder briefcase. I'm giving it a "Good" rating as the price is a little high of the output, but the build quality is excellent, and the power output matches the rating.

Purchased this to power a new 12v portable fridge. Worked like a champ! Did a trial run and for almost 5-6 hours during my test my Yeti remained at 100% power thanks to the sun and the Boulder. Feels heavier than 25 pounds, but it’s heavy duty for sure. Money well spent.

I have been super happy with all of my Goal Zero purchases and was very surprised when I found my Boulder Briefcase shattered after some hail. They have held up to a lot, but not that.

Like all Gold Zero products the Boulder 100 is built with quality in mind. The downside is you have to be a bodybuilder to carry it.

User Friendly, Quality Product, Works well with Goal Zero Solar Generators. Would recommend Goal Zero Products to anyone.

Purchased a Yeti 500X a few months back and decided to get a panel to go with it, mostly for outages. Used the Boulder 100 for the first time today. Cold (10 F) winter day about 10:30am and it was putting out 85 watts. It's sunny but the sun is very low in the sky so I wasn't expecting that amount of power. Very pleased. It's a bit heavy so not taking it backpacking but is very solid and seems well built.

Finally set off on our can life adventure! Found the Boulder briefcase easy to set up and pack away. Seems to charge our Goal Zero generator fairly well. Just have to adjust to the suns angle to get the best charge.
Offgridlife
The perfect set up for our Yeti500 battery bank. Convenient and manageable for a couple living off-grid.

This is my first solar panel so I don't have much to compare this to. It's very study, dropped it out of the car a few times and kids have tumbled over it. It's fine for car camping and home use but wouldn't want this overlanding or even for a basecamp trek. Cord is very short, I guess to be part of a series of panels on an extension cord to get further from camp.

Haven't use the panel yet, but my brother says they work great.

I bought this because I'm a landscape photographer and I travel often and need to keep my cameras and laptop and other gear powered up, but I've found that I'm using it when I'm home as well. I've got it connected to my Goal Zero Yeti 500x and when positioned in the sun correctly I get as much input as when I plug it into my wall outlet. Very pleased with this purchase. My only concern is keeping it from getting banged up over time. The case that comes with it is not padded at all, so I'm very careful when I move it around.

Bought this to connect to my Yeti 1000core and got to test it out at the cabin. I also have the boulder 200 and this is much easier to transport compared. Was averaging about 65w sitting on the porch while i was working. does exactly what i need! FYI Travel case is nice, but you still need to protect the panels as it's just fabric on the outside.

I use a yeti 1400 lithium with MPPT and a pair of boulder 100 briefcase panels primarily to power my small travel trailer off grid camping and at motorcycle trial events. I'm very pleased with the performance of this setup. My experience is that on a clear, sunny day the pair of 100 boulders will charge the yeti at a rate of 90 to 150+ watts/hr. I actually have seen over 180. I highly recommend these products.

I bought this for remote camping. Seems very well built. It is very easy to use with my GoZero Yeti 400 and Yeti 150 battery packs. I’ve always have had good results with GoZero Warranty Issues. I have several GoZero products.
