No Edge On Brand New Knife - Really Disappointing

I bought this because a previous Gerber had the locking mechanism break. I was reasonably happy with the previous knife, but it had an edge from the factory. The Zilch had no edge after I took it out of the package - it wouldn't cut paper, and I could safely wrap my entire hand around the blade without any fear of cutting myself. Twenty minutes of sharpening later, we are barely cutting paper. I'm disappointed in the initial quality, especially for an "American Made" product.

Dull Isn’t Even The Word

This knife can’t hold an edge to safe its life. Basic use as an EDC knife. Needs to be sharpened every single day. My Milwaukee utility knife holds a better edge. Been years since I have had a gerber and now I remember why.

Excellent all-around pocket knife... takes and holds a decent edge.

Absolutely Great Knife I Love It.

I love it. It also has a shoelace cleaner on it. So you would open the base and run your shoelace through the handle and it cleans off the stickers and hitchhikers on it. It has a good blade sharpness out of the box and the material is amazing

Not Again

Good knife, belt clip is garbage. I play lost and found with all of these I've bought. The clip breaks while I'm walking around. Can't get the warranty claim page to send. Gonna look at a different brand.

5 star knife with a 1 star pocket clip. I own three of these and the pocket clip has broke on all of them.

Great Edc/beater

For the price can’t go wrong. Lightweight, easy to open with only a flick of the wrist. Great EDC to beat up at work or for everyday use. Very sharp, 10/10 would recommend as a first knife or an EDC.

Terrible Color Of Yellow

very very cheap and the yellow color is terrible. Its not really yellow. More of a faded gold or urine color. not good.

Amazing Little Knife

Great little knife. Got mine as a Christmas gift a couple years ago and it has not failed me. Handle bent a little after extensive use but it is only noticeable if you're looking for it and does not affect the performance. Opens really smoothly and easily , clicks open solidly (and with an addicting sound), fits in my pocket like it was made for it, looks extremely cool (Definitely my favorite design out of any of Gerber's pocketknives), and stays sharp for a long time (I've only sharpened it once). All in all, I would one hundred percent recommend this knife to anyone looking for a good pocketknife.

Great Pocket Knife
