Outstanding
My daughter gave me this knife as a gift and it is incredible! Rugged, durable, and will tackle any job. I live in Montana and use it for hunting, fishing, camping and around the home and it has never disappointed me. Highly recommend. Great job Gerber.

Great Machete!
Outstanding knife/machete, got this for Christmas, it can cut through brush and small trees with ease! I tested it's durability by smashing a solid ice block with it and it didn't dull a the slightest! It preforms as well as a 18 inch blade machete and the blade is half the size of them! Highly recommend this Knife/machete!

Great Machete!
Great durable machete! Clears trails and even chops 2 inch wide trees super easily! Preforms just as a 18 inch 1 1/2 pound machete would and is much lighter! Had it for half a year and only needed 2 sharpens! Broke the tip off by accidentally smashing a rock but it still kicks butt! It is also very easy to sharpen. I tested it's durability by smashing a block of solid ice with it, and it didn't even get a bit dull. Highly recommend this knife/machete

Pretty Cool Tool
Just got one. Immediately liked the grip and weight balance. Great balance for chopping. I just recently used it to split lighter wood. Worked perfectly. Not super sharp but that appears intentional since it is meant for heavy duty work not carving or fine cuts. After splitting a large hard piece of lighter I cleaned the blade and inspected it. Not a single nick or scratch! Next I'm going camping with it. Will review with results.

A great tool, it is used at olive trees in general but at other trees too.. woods for barbecue... many many tasks.. no complain at all !!!!! love it

Your Title
Giving this a 3 because the tool itself is great. Great for small chopping tasks. The problem I had is I picked it up and the sheath broke the same day right above the finger release. Which has been fine they’re sending me a new one but, still, I can’t carry it now.
