Great So Far

Love the feel of a micarta handle. It's on the large side for an edc but it's been an asset so far. I'm always impressed at the knife quality of gerber knives for their price.

Amazing Design And Look

I love the design, the look just wish y’all would really really make it. USA made a better steal please remake same exact design, USA made and better steel.

I love this knife but I would love for a better steel and to be slightly bigger. A magnacut would be really nice, I wouldn’t mind paying more for better steal!!!!

Fits Nicely In Hand

So far I love this knife. Fits in hand nicely, is light and blade opens easily with thumb. Also looks good. Just hope the blade holds up since most reviews are not favorable to the blade. 4 stars because Im not sure bout the blade yet.

Great Knife Needs A Better Steel! And A Black One!

Use D2 steel or even atleast 440C but everything is fire on this knife its a tactical camp knife. Its a work knife survival knife rescue knife bushcraft knife

Nothing Wrong With The Blade Steel!

Many who complain about the blade steel are drinking the blade hype koolaid… are there better steel choices? Sure, but why raise the cost and subsequently the price when most would never need a premium steel. The 440A in this scout sharpens like a dream and gets a wicked razor edge with a mirror finish. Use it several times and it strops back amazingly well! More than steel type… or should I say steel hype, heat treat and geometry matter. The scout 44A seems to have a good heat treat and a blade shape that, for me, works extremely well in daily tasks. Great knife from Gerber!

Great, Everyday Knife

This is a really serviceable, everyday pocket knife. Bought it for my teen son and he loves it.

The Best Knife I Have

I’ve used this knife almost everyday for multiple years, no matter what I do it seems to hold up to the abuse. It’s worth every penny. Gerber as usual made an outstanding product with fantastic quality, in all the years I’ve used it the only thing that broke was the belt buckle, but the costumer survice people helped me find a replacement, I would recommend the knife/ company to anyone

Micarta Handles Are The Best.

I love this knife but hope Gerber does makes one with a premium steel one day. Gerber really did knock it out of the park with this knife though, and the 440A is easy to sharpen.

Great Knife

This is a great knife I actually found mine in a river while backpacking the handle also feels great. Very shap even after I found it in a river.

Nice Knife But Does Not Hold An Edge

I drive truck and cut a lot of jute twine. This knife is great for one handed opening, but after half a day of cutting the twine (20to30 slices) it to dull to continue the remainder of the day. Ive had sharper knifes for a fraction of the cost at ACE
