Terrible Product

Biggest piece of junk I’ve bought in a long time. It lasted a total of 30 minutes before the blade retainer no longer held the blade. Next thing to not work was the slide lock.

Verified Purchase

Compact, Smooth, Handy

I love this knife. I work in a big box home supply store and am cutting boxes open, splitting sheet rock and doing small prying jobs all day. My Prybrid is compact, easy to open and close. Changing blades is easy and it is unobtrusive. This is an excellent utility knife for daily use. I also own the XActo blade version that I similarly use as my go-to blade around the house. You won’t go wrong buying one of these knives. Try one.

Lock It

This is a great pocket knife for general utility with the ability to swap the blades out

Needs A Pocket Clip!

Purchased this item recently with high expectations! For me, what is keeping this from being a 5 Star item is the lack of a pocket clip. I find it more of a hassle trying to dig this thing out of my pocket or tool bag when i need it. Sticking to my utility knife that has a pocket clip for easy access.

Highly Recommend

This has been my EDC for 7 months. Every time I see a utility knife that includes a bottle opener, I buy it and every time I eventually came back to using this one. The bottle opener works really well; I can consistently open bottles in one go rather than having to switch angles and areas (a problem with many pocket sized bottle openers). I actually prefer there is no pocket clip; it makes it carry very flat in my pocket, no hotspots where it presses against my thigh. The blade deploys smoothly and locks in place well. At the same time, it’s seems impossible for the blade to deploy accidentally while in your pocket. I had that with a different pocket utility knife and almost cut my hand. I’ve never had that problem with this knife, even when I tried to deploy “on accident” for testing. The little line cutting notch is an excellent feature. I can just pull this thing out my pocket and cut a tag or loose string off clothes without even having to deploy the blade. It’s safe too, I couldn’t touch the blade through that notch even when I tried. I don’t use the pry features often, but it has come in handy a few times. Seems very sturdy. Lanyard hole in the back is nice if you don’t mind diminishing the pry features somewhat. The blade is a bit of a pain to change, but I’ve gotten used to it and can do it fairly quickly with no additional tools. All in all; this is my most used EDC after my flashlight and I highly recommend it.

Good But Not Great

i have had this for a few months now and i find the blade hard to deploy the prybar end is a useless addition that make it uncomfortable to use it would be better without and on top of that taking it apart to clean it is not easy the loctite the screws and the button to deploy the blade is a weak point

Industrial Journeyman

Compact and sleek, this tool comes in handy several times a day. Very handy for it's compact size and durably built.

Open For Improvements

It looks and feels great on hand, however it's not the perfect tool. Pocket clip and auto lock for knife would be good. When I try to cut several boxes, knife keeps moving back inside, it even came off once. Other than that it's good

Needs A Belt Clip

This is an all around great knife. My only gripe is, with all the features it has, there is no belt clip.

Nice Utility Knife But...

If you could have more levels of retraction, for just opening boxes.. Like the safety knives at one of the big box stores... These would sell right out.. All day long.. Other than that amazing stuff as always

Most Used Edc

This is a tool I use every day, it would be a great edc but it's missing one small feature. A pocket clip. If it had a pocket clip it would have gotten five stars. It is well made and thought out, except for the clip. It is so heart breaking to find a tool I use multiple times a day that just fall to the bottom of my front pants pocket. My kingdom for a simple pocket clip

Food Pantry Volunteer

The Prybrid is much more than just a knife; as the description points out, it's eight tools in one. I volunteer two mornings a week at a food pantry and I use my Prybrid to open cardboard boxes, cut away shrink wrap from pallets of packaged food, pull exposed nails from wooden pallets, and do countless other jobs. I wouldn't be without it.

Great Knife

It is a great and tight utility knife. I loved that I can put pressure on the blade to the point of breaking without the frame handle even flexing. I wished the lanyard hole can accommodate a standard bit size, hex one quarter. Future version should be able to do that.

Pocket Clip!

Where's the pocket clip? A removable pocket clip would make this perfect...

Jack Of All Trades Master Of One.

Awesome little tool . But cannot get 5 stars until gerber adds a POCKET CLIP... great tool works awesome. But get with the program offer a pocket clip.
