Satisfied

Had this watch for quite sometime, it performs just as advertised, it does all functions very well. If it had the blood pressure function it would be perfect. I have a pixel 10 matted to it, I keep trying to find a reason to change it out for a pixel watch, but so far, the cost outweighs the benefit.

Will Not Stay Connected

I now have to re-pair my watch every couple of weeks to get it to synch. I’ve had this watch for 5 years and the connection just seems to get worse with age. Not sure why I would buy another Garmin at this point.

Very Difficult To Setup To Personal Use

Very difficult to setup to personal use - instructions are difficult to figure out and instruction videos are very lacking. Thinga that should be simple like customizing watch face, accessing heart rate, and other physical info are very difficult if not being impossible. Very disgusted with this watch!

Great Gps Watch For Fitness And Music

This watch combines advanced health monitoring with built-in music and long battery life. It's great for everyday workouts, runs, and even more serious training. The easy-to-use interface makes it accessible for beginners, while the robust feature set (GPS, heart rate, sleep tracking, SpO2, and Garmin Pay) will satisfy more experienced athletes. With its sleek design, comfortable fit, and ability to download playlists for phone-free listening, it's a versatile companion for both novices and experts.

Disappointed

This VenuSq replaced the one I had bought 2 years earlier. I replaced it because it was horrible at accurately keeping track of steps on my speed walks. This one is not any better, in spite of having painstakingly counted steps for a mile and created a personalized stride length. At best, the watch is 300 steps off; from one mile to the next, it gives me 300 - 700 fewer steps for each successive mile. I'm a data person, and logged all of this in a spreadsheet. Total step counts for exactly the same course EVERY DAY has an average of 2004 steps/mile (personal stride = 2400 s/mi), with a standard deviation of 235 steps, or a 11.7% deviation. Worse yet, if I don't start the WALK or RUN function, the watch measures the exact same course at anywhere from 0.8 to 1.4 miles shorter than it really is. It does a great job of logging strokes when I am on my rowing machine, but I created a couple of rowing workouts which never showed up in my watch. I'm not sure I am going to replace this with another Garmin. Why would I? Totally frustrated. With a nice, detailed spreadsheet to back up all my frustration.

Love My Garmin

From hiking 14ers to snowboarding we love this watch and its battery life

Old Watch - New Review

I have had this watch for a couple of years but every so often it gets disconnected somehow and I have to go through the 'New Device' process and reestablish things. This means all of my stats are cleared AND I get to write a new review... There are a couple of things I would like in the running app. 1) Integration with the music controls. Sometimes I would like to pause or skip or just see the song name while I am running and it is too hard to get to the music screen. Not impossible but hard since side swiping doesn't work well from the run screens. It would be nice if the music controls could act like a data field so that I could get there with a simple up/down swipe instead of side swipe and then up/down. 2) A way to continue from a paused run. A few times recently, the watch has presented a screen that says 'Press Start to record". Pressing start takes me to a screen to end and save the run or cancel. I don't want to end the run so I choose cancel. This just takes me back to the "Press Start to record" screen again. There doesn't seem to be any way to just continue my current run.

Great Watch

I bought the Venu SQ2 a month ago to add to my already growing Garmin collection. I needed a nice watch to wear for work.

Best Watch Ever!!!

I bought my watch several years ago. It’s was the best purchase I’ve ever made. Thanks to my Venue Square I found out I had high blood pressure. I love that it has encouraged me to walk more. I’m also so grateful to Garmin for replacing it at a very reasonable price when I had issues. It was four years old. They were more than fair.

So Tired Of It

I've had my Garmin for two years was great first year. I have a Google pixel phone and this last year every week I have to repair my Garmin and so sick of Garmin emails stating welcome to the family. Well Garmin as soon as I can afford it I will be leaving your family as I'm so sick of this

Great Price For A Smart Watch

If you are looking for a great value smartwatch, this one is the best bang for the buck.

All Good But The Font Is Too Small

Love it. Multi functions and I swim with it today seems fine. However the font is too small for 60 year old eyes

App Updates Have Ruined Watch!

This watch was great until the app underwent an update that rendered it unusable for any reasonable purpose. Enshittification at it's worst. Never again buying this brand. Purely planned obsolescence.

Hard To Figure Out How To Use

Keeps good time. Not easy to use or figure out. Thinking about getting an Apple that's easier to use.

Cheaply Made But More Expensive

I had the original Venue Sq which I liked for a budget smart watch. It died after 2 years so I got the Veni Sq 2 Music edition. It's substantially more money but the watch is cheaply built with a an even cheaper band. Not a good value.
