I bought this watch a year ago, I have had three editions of the Fenix, amazing watch, only thing is I wish they had an upgrade program. I have three watches, lol.

Unsatisfied

What i complain is that the display is too dark on solar model,anr i try to returned and exchange for amoled display,but wassant allow only because 8 customized it,the customization was only change the wristband color

very pleased with my Fenix 8 solar. love the functions. Beautiful watch. I love the long battery life. Before I need to charge on my stand. Connects very well with my iPhone 17.

Solar Version Has Weak Screen

Everything about this watch is awesome... except for the washed out, hard to see screen.

Better Than Apple

Have been wearing this now for about 10 days. Easy to set up and use. Battery life puts Apple to shame. Amazing display.

For Life

I was very connected to my Fenix 7 but when I got upgraded to the Fenix 8 I completely fell in love again. The layout, the battery life and overall metrics have been amazing to keep track of and easy to dive into.

A Watch Packed With Features!

I ended up returning this watch for the smaller face size. The only major difference between the two sizes is the battery life. This watch had every fitness, golf and outdoor pursuit feature I could have thought of.

Not Sorry I Upgraded!

Have had a fenix 6 since it came out. The battery was starting to have a shorter life span and I upgraded to the 8. Fabulous watch, good battery life, great features. Syncs easily with my android phone and Alltrails. Easy to put routes on my watch, love the little arrows when you are not on the map screen.

Underwhelming Update To The 7

Barely an upgrade over the Fenix 7 in my opinion. Pretty bummed about it too. The operating system is barely improved and the voice assistant is not great.

Upgraded from fenix 6X Pro Solar. Love this one! Opted for solar version vs AMOLED. Better full sun viewing. Great features.

Extremely happy with all the features and the battery life is killer.

Charging is clunky and impractical. Installing and using apps on the watch is also a clunky experience. Compared to, say, the Samsung Ultra—which I also use—the Samsung feels more convenient for daily use. I hike and run, but all the apps on the Garmin are clunky, hard to read, and awkward to launch. It really should be more intuitive, easier to use, and more legible. Given the price, I’m not happy with this watch; the cost is exorbitant, and I suspect about 50% of it is just for the brand name.
