You Won’t Regret Your Purchase

I’ve had the watch for around a month and love it. It’s going to do whatever you need it to do.

Excellent

Amazing watch, color and clarity are excellent battery life phenomenal!! Loved my Fenix 5x but this one takes the cake.

Handy Tool

Love all all the fitness and health data tracking.

Never Going Back

This watch is a fantastic tool for people who take their health and fitness seriously.

Awesome Watch

I bought this about a month ago and love the battery life and features. 100% happy with my purchase and glade I ditched my Apple Watch.

A Worthy Upgrade!

I recently upgraded my garmin gear. I was an original fenix 3 HR owner with the sapphire glass. It served its life well and is still alive and fully functional! The main reason for upgrade was the battery life was deteriorating. I debated for quite a while on which model 8 to go with and ultimately chose the AMOLED display in the same 51mm. I’m blown away with the performance and options this new piece of kit has to offer. It’s a learning curve with the new features and apps this can handle but it was a worthy upgrade. To note. Most of my long thru hikes last a few weeks max. My runs are 10k in the woods. And I’m normally close to civilization or carry a charger. But I have yet to need to charge this thing until I get home. Even over 14 days while using the tracking when set up correctly I made it home wi the at least another 2 weeks of life left in the watch.

Fenix Rising

Dedicated Epix fan until I met the Fenix 51mm. Battery lasts for weeks and scores of adventures. Rugged and handsome.

Fénix 8

Huge Step Up In Sleep & Recovery Insight

Upgraded from an 8-year-old Fenix 5 Pro Sapphire that still works perfectly, sapphire screen still pristine. That's Garmin quality for you, and it's why I'm pretty much a forever customer at this point. The Fenix 8's sensors are a big leap forward: sleep tracking is far more detailed, with real onset/wake accuracy instead of rough estimates, plus Body Battery, HRV, SpO₂, and restless moments working together to actually explain how I'm recovering. AMOLED display is gorgeous and easy to read anytime. This is my daily driver watch, and it's earned that spot.

Too Much!!! In A Good Way

I know, I know ... For a suburban dad, middle aged and a recreational sports guy, this thing is total overkill. But, that's why I love it... The running, weight training, music storage, customization, golf, cycling, skiing, yoga, and all activities make this thing a beast. It's too big, it's too robust, and I absolutely LOVE it. Great step up from the Fenix 6 which I had for 6 years or so. Wouldn't go back!

Love It

Amazing smartwatch and even better fitness and health device. Only way it could be better is if there was a Solar AMOLED version.

Need To Be Better With Software Fixes.

I thoroughly like the watch. My only issue arose about a month ago. There is some issue with the “maps” update for the “golf” activity. Some corrupt file that was downloaded with the June update. I have completed two factor resets, but the map file continues to be missing. I was able to get the “golf” activity working, but is still very glitchy and must restart several times. Prior to the map issue, I would have given the watch 5 stars. With the glitch showing up a month ago, and still no permanent fix, I can only go with 4 stars.

No Buyers Remorse. Excellent Watch/tracker

30 days in with the watch and it is performing extremely well. Battery life is insane with normal use and apps/ menus are very responsive. I upgraded the band to a Bandletic which compliments the 51mm perfectly. One downside is the adaptive brightness which can not be customized or switched off. Otherwise this has been a solid watch and enjoyable to use. I still wear my Mudmaster for heavier outdoor work just in case.

Really Robust Features

Outstanding screen- very vibrant- great technical progression from the Fenix 7

Decent Watch My Honest Opinion

I like the display color, the touch screen, the ease of using it. But like the instict 2 and 3, the torch shortcut doesn't always work.. it'll turn on, but won't switch off. Also the gesture doesn't always work when I put my hand over the watch face.. other than that its great!
