So Many Features

Upgrading from a previous model and class. Loving how many options and features that it contains. Comfortable as any other trackers have had but with so many features and training options. Screen is great, speaker is fine, light very nice perk feature.

Holy Cow The Features!!

I just upgraded to the Garmin fēnix® 8, and let’s be honest: I am now wearing a supercomputer on my wrist that is roughly 400% smarter than I am. The Good News: The AMOLED screen is so crisp I can see my stress levels rising in 4K during the Saturday morning rush. I used the built-in flashlight last night and accidentally guided a commercial flight into Grand Rapids. The Reality: This watch is built for people who climb Everest and skydive into volcanoes. Meanwhile, it just sent me a notification that my "Expedition to the Service Department" was a personal best. I will likely use 4 of the 1.2 million features it offers, but if you need someone to track their sleep quality while simultaneously navigating via satellite through a blizzard... I’m your guy. Now, if I can just figure out how to tell what time it is, I’ll be all set.

Great But Charging Is Weird

I receive the Fenix 8 amoled, I love it but when I charge it’s says charging but then doesn’t but it still seems to charge but it doesn’t have the charging symbol.

Fenix 8 Defective Out Of The Box

Out of the box the down button didn’t work. Made sure to do all the software updates and a few restarts. Then found that this is a pretty common problem and to add a calibration file. Did that and still no luck fixing the button. Watches this expensive should not have this many defects.

Great Addition To My Health Tracking!

I've been looking for a new smartwatch for quite some time and finally pulled the trigger in late 2025. I've thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the health, activity, sleep tracking and very much looking forward to getting out on the golf course to test the golf features of the Fenix 8.
