Best Battery Life

I bought this a month ago and it’s been great! The battery life alone has been a game changer

Excellent Watch

I like it very much. Everything You need packed into a little device..

I'm Happy With It

I bought this a month ago and I can't express how much better it is than my old Fenix 5 pro.... most of the time. When this past months there's been two times where my screen has got stuck in between flipping screens and has frozen. The first time it was frozen for quite a bit until I plugged it in and then it fixed itself. The second time all I had to do was hit a button and it switched to the second screen. The retail price on this watch is ridiculous and not worth it. I got my watch from a third party and got it 75% off.... I wouldn't pay more then that for this watch. I'm also quite disappointed that there's no stealth mode on this watch. Especially with all the reports coming from Ukraine and the ability to locate individuals via the radio waves given off by the smart watches. I feel like there are a lot of military and First Responders that buy these watches; so stealth mode should be included.

Next Level Sport Watch

I had no idea how much information could be packed into a watch. I had an Instinct 2 that did very well for my lifestyle and all I do. The Fenix 7X takes it all and turns it up to 11. This watch has told me things about me I didn’t know. Training has gotten better, runs are more detailed, and everything is just simply better. The build is very durable, the metrics are detailed, and it meets every need or want you could ever have.

Lots Of Features, Some Hard To Figure Out

Watch is great when it works. The red start/stop button sometimes required as many as 15-20 presses before it will activate. Talked to someone online and was told to soak it in warm water for 10 minutes. That helped some, but still a problem. Excellent battery life, but big and heavy.

Great Features, Great Service, Reliability Issues

I golf, ride, spin, swim, lift and walk. The watch provides so much valuable data. Garmin supports has been great. Sadly the sensors go haywire after a year or so. My altimeter went haywire a year ago showing me at -8000’ or +10000’ at the same location. Bike rides suddenly had 190,000’ of elevation gain, etc. It was promptly replaced under warranty. Then a couple months ago it was recording HR of 230 (my max is 185) and the altimeter went nuts again. Great service, another replacement, but I’m worried about the pattern and what happens when the warranty ends.

Great Watch

I bought this a month ago to replace my older one. It is a step up in wearable technology. I like it a lot and still learning its capabilities.

Friendly User

Yes bought it three weeks ago and so far no regrets will later change it for the fenix 8

Best Purchase Of 2025

The health sensors and tracking are solving issues that have plagued me for years. It may not be 'medical grade', but it reveals potential problems to investigate. Having a screen I can see is,a big plus...

Everyone Needs One.

One of the best purchases I have ever made. The health status helped my doctors figure out a complex medical condition. The stats are fun but not just that they help you train. And keep you motivated, especially when you feel like you're running low on steam. The flashlight has been amazing. Not just for outdoors. Great for housework too. The battery lasted a long time. The touchscreen is wonderful. And it was so cool.My sister and my dad got 1 to match me so we are all synchronized. They absolutely love theirs too. The check in for the spin biking mountain.Biking and kayaking is wonderful. No complaints.

Garmin Fenix 7x Pro Sapphire Solar

I would recommend this watch to anyone who goes a bit overboard on their outdoor activities. I never used the music function, so can't speak on that, but for everyday running, ultrarunning, gym, hiking, backpacking, cycling, backcountry trekking, etc.....it's perfect for what I need. The navigation is on point, I can program my run routes in with turn by turn directions, and the maps are super helpful. Battery life is great. I can usually go about two weeks without charging based on the different settings I have currently. Great watch and great brand.

Upgraded From The Previous Models!

At home feeling to my previous 6X but with better features and widgets! Touch screen works surprisingly well and organization of widgets and apps is super easy. I also liked the updated Health features and the endurance scores that weren't available on my previous model.

The Perfect Watch…etc

Great navigation, perfect timing mechanism, ideal watch… Everything ‘anyone’ could need or want in a training watch. Have tried others and nothing compares to this ‘perfect’ all around, training watch…Long battery life is a huge bonus when you’re out there for a few days

Solar Is A Farse, Heavy, Feature Rich

So this watch is interesting to recommend. It is full of features and sensors, you can do almost anything with it. That’s cool. I can’t fault the features and calculations it can perform. It’s durable. I swapped from a Forerunner to this and the 955 feels like a toy in comparison. Durability means heavy and chunky though. I’m a skinny guy and the 955 took some getting used to, the 7x is another animal. It’s heavy and bounces around a lot just from heft. You have to cinch the strap down for sure. If you can try one on, do so. The solar is a bust for me. I wear the 7x as my wearable and use my Edge for bike data. Figured the bike miles out in the sun would charge the watch for me. All it seems to do is populate a graph with zero change in battery life. Same as my Edge solar. Maybe if I took it off and left it on the sun for a day it would move the actual battery charge, but from my normal use, it does nothing. Save your money on that one. So I’m torn. The watch itself is great. The Garmin solar promises, are just promises. I can’t seem to get it to matter. And it’s chunky. I think it’s a necessary evil but for me, it’s a beast.
