Work As Described. Grade C For The Company.

Take home: they run small, they are waterproof but retain perspiration, warm down to the low 30s, easily catch on hooks. The longer story: I purchased these to fish for striper in the fall. I read multiple reviews that stated they are not waterproof. I think they are. However they do not respire so perspiration from your hands will accumulate and feel damp. I did not submerge my hands past the cuff but suspect they may leak over the cuff although the cuff fits snuggly and goes up the wrist several inches which is nice. They run small as I have a medium hand and the small/ med size is too tight which reduces the warming ability. This pair is good to about 40 deg for several hours of fishing. I am going to get the next size up and see if they feel warmer. Since they are a knit outer shell one has to be more cautious when handling hooks. The index fingers work well on touch screens. The grip material is nice and unobtrusive. I researched Frog Toggs which is in AL. They seem to be an equitable employer but not particularly charitable. They do not seem to have any particular bent towards environmental stewardship, conservation or sustainable or product manufacturing/supply chain quality. They do focus on making products affordable. In summary these gloves work as stated within what one should expect from this price point.

    Not Waterproof

There is no universe in which these are waterproof. Water resistant? Sort of, perhaps, but absolutely NOT waterproof.

    Great Gloves

I was a little skeptical about the waterproof quality of these gloves but they perform great. Water tight and dry to the touch. Good job Frogg.

    Not Waterproof!

I wore these on a glacier hike in Iceland during light rain and my gloves were soaked, inside and out. They took several days to dry.

    Nice Waterproof Gloves

Purchased these for garden use. They are pretty thick so therefore, a little hot during our Missouri summer heat, however, comfortable. The garden gloves I’ve purchased start to have an unpleasant odor but these Toggs do not. I plan to purchase another pair.

Sized For A Very Young Adult

these were no where sized for a typical male asking for a large/xl they fit my wife but not me. they were not even close. and they don't go any larger. My hands are not large for a typical male

    Not Waterproof

Aftet a rainy day on a lake in Canada, they were soaked through. Should have had someone video me wringing the water out if them. Bad part is there are probably two more rainy days ahead this week

    Waterproof, But Difficult To Clean

Handled fish on three separate outings. Pleased with the waterproof nature and grip, just can’t find a way to clean the gloves to eliminate the fishy smell.

    Work Well But Tight Fitting

Nice gloves. I ordered extra large and they are very tight. I don’t have the largest hands. XL is the biggest they have so order up a size.

    Tight Fingers

I have not used them as of yet but I have tried them on. I ordered the largest size and they seem pretty tight in the fingers...I don't know if the will expand with use but we'll see!
