Bought this in Navy. So difficult to find a fitted flannel shirt that is flattering. Got about ten compliments in once hour (from one person), who said, buy more in other colors if you can. I think it runs a bit small. I bought a small (I am 94 pounds but not really all that small in the arms and shoulders) and it just fits. But it is feminine instead of being boxy.

This year I have been on an odd flannel shirt binge. I have purchased numerous flannels from most of the well known sporting goods stores and boutique shops. That said of the 15 or so flannels that I have purchased this year both this Ovid red plaid and another Fjallraven style are my absolute favorites! They are more expensive than even the Orvis flannels but, worth every penny. This flannel is just the right medium weight, the red color is pretty without being too bright and in your face. The medium size fits me perfectly and has a flattering cut that is long enough to just cover my bum. The flannel is a great quality and should last for years to come. Great to wear to do light barn work or dress up a bit and wear out and about.

Bought a small and a medium and while the small fits fine, I liked the drape of the medium fit better. Launders easy and is very versatile. I will get a lot of use from this shirt. The shirt is made very well and I would say its true to size but if you like a layered look, size up.

Fabric was nice and the sleeves were long enough. Fit was a bit snug with a base layer underneath so I returned for a larger size. Colors on my monitor were very similar the actual shirt.

Got this for myself and I really enjoy wearing it because it’s pretty and a little rugged looking too. I ordered a small which fits perfectly. I’m 5’ 4” and 117-ish. I usually wear a white tee under it. You can’t lose with this brand. It’s truly worth the extra money for the quality.
