Let Down By The Not-fit-for-purpose Hood

The problem with this jacket is its hood. It is just not large enough to do its job. And one can see it on the photos already: it does not reach forward enough to keep the rain off the face. Yes, it's a fine looking jacket (I have the dark blue one), looks classy and is rain proof etc. But the hood is just plain badly designed and a rain jacket without a hood that works ... So, no, I would not recommend it and I regret having bought it. It is also quite narrow in the body, so you can't fit a lot underneath. Bottom line: a rain jacket for summer with a non-working hood

So Happy

I saved up for a shell to have for many years, and I am so thrilled I went with this jacket. It is wind prof and I can still fit layers comfortably underneath. I am quite tall, so finding a women's jacket with long enough arms is always a struggle, but the arms fir perfectly even with some length to spare.

Best Adventure Shell Layer

I’ve had mine for for 7+ years now and it’s been with me on so many adventures. The fit is great and quality impeccable. It needs to be impregnated from time to time however. But I will highly recommend it!

Not Waterproof!!!

I have had this jacket for under a year. I wore it today on an 8 mile walk, and got completely soaked. All the way through.  There is no way this is even vaguely waterproof.  I love Fjallraven products, and have several, which are all good quality, and have lasted and performed well. I don’t know whether quality control has failed, but this jacket is bad.
