Light And Comfy

Light and comfortable and pretty durable. Very water absorbent and may need the wax added

Unmatched Durability

I never write product reviews but these pants deserve one. I live in northern Alberta and the pants have been worn in sun, rain, snow and everything in between. I just got back from a flyfishing trip in the Rockies and the pants held up sliding over rocks, navigating over massive log jams, bush whacking, and trudging through mud. Normally I wear chest waders, but I wore these instead and was up to my mid thigh wading across rivers. They handled the water with no problems, leaving me feeling dry in about 5 minutes. I’ve never been too hot, or too cold in these pants. I would choose these trousers If I could only own one pair of pants.

Amazing Pants

These are my favourite of the Vida pro line of pants. I wear them year round and don’t find them too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter. They are super tough for backcountry adventures and the pockets are great for storing some small items. I love the knee pad pocket for winter camping, helps prevent cold knees when doing camp tasks. Recommend going one size possibly two sizes up for a proper loose fit for non restrictive movement.

Dang Good Work Trousers

Bought these for summers grinding out at the food rescue. Going between huge fridges and hot trucks. Lots of warehouse work too. They keep me comfortable in the coldt and the hot.

For People Who Don’t Lift Weights.

I have never bought more awkwardly sized pants in my life. Waist is fine, lower leg comically baggy, thighs…..the thighs are far too tight. These pants are designed for people who don’t lift weights.

Great Quality But Sizing Is Inconsistent

The Fjällräven Vidda Pro Lite is a very well-made, high-quality pair of hiking pants. The construction feels durable, the materials are excellent, and the fit and overall silhouette look great. For warm-weather hiking, these pants are comfortable and much lighter than the standard Vidda Pro. Compared with the newer Fjällräven Vidda Pro Lite Zip-Off, the regular Vidda Pro Lite is less expensive, but it does not have the ventilation or zip-off functionality. If you don't need those features like me, the standard Lite version offers good value. My main complaint is the sizing consistency. I normally wear a size 30 in virtually every brand, but Fjällräven's size 30 is far too tight for me. Previously, I purchased the Vidda Pro Ventilated M in size 32, and it fit perfectly. This time, however, I ordered the Vidda Pro Lite in size 32, and it feels noticeably looser than my Vidda Pro Ventilated in the same size. Because of this inconsistency, it's difficult to know which size to order, especially when buying online. Overall, these are excellent hiking pants with great quality and a flattering fit, but Fjällräven could do a better job maintaining consistent sizing across different models. Pros: Excellent build quality Durable yet lightweight fabric Great fit and leg shape Good option for warm-weather hiking Less expensive than the Zip-Off version Cons: No ventilation feature Sizing varies significantly between models May require trial and error to find the right size

I'm Getting Another Pair.

These were my only pants for a 2 week wander through the rainy windy Orkney Islands. They were extraordinarily comfortable. Pockets for everything you can imagine and the fabric held up well for climbing and scurrying on the rocks. They are my new favorite pants.

Great Functionality And Comfortable

Worn through a day of repeated rain and sun, rain and sun, with strong wind. Pants felt comfortable, didn't get heavy when wet and dried in a jiffy. Pockets worked well for keeping my wallet, passport, phone and a map. Quite liked the cinch up leg cuffs. Kept the bottom of the pant from getting wet and muddy. Found, overall, that the pant functioned very well on its own from 5ºC to 20ºC. I'm sure with long underwear, they'd be fine in colder conditions and they are light enough that I'm sure they would work well in warmer conditions. Very happy with the purchase.

New Favourite Warm Weather Pants

Got two pairs of these the other day, and I can confirm already going to be my favourite warm weather pants. Ive got a pair of these Vidda pro ventilated, and Kebs, annd Keb agiles, and the fit/sizing of these is pretty condition to the others. The sizing for all of Fjallraven pants are a little odd, but just size up and they fit great. I normally wear a 36, and I go for 38s and they fit perfect. This pair of pants is nice and light, top quality and look great. Only gripe is the material definitely does not feel “stretchy” so not sure why they note that it is. If you want a true stretch pant go for the Kebs or Keb agiles.

Okay Fit, Great Quality

Fjallraven makes great gear. These pants would be even better if they made them for people with big legs. I have three pairs of Fjallraven pants and all of them are made for skinny legged people. The waist and hip are fine and true to size. If you are going to the bar after your hike and want to look cool with your flannel shirt and trucker hat to drink some IPAs, these are probably the pant for you. If you are a big legged athlete who is going to wear these for two days in the backcountry, the fit may be a bit much for you.

Great Fit For Everyday Wear

These are my daily "go to" pants. The fit is perfect, not too tight and not too loose. Being able to adjust the cuff at the ankle allows for versatility you dont find in other pants. The comfort level is fantastic and the pocket space allows me to carry a lot without being too "cargo" obvious.
