Been wearing the Vardag trousers pretty consistently for a week now. I am 5’7” 170lbs with an athletic build. I ordered 32/30 which is my usual size that I go with. Yes, the pants do run a tad bit on the smaller size but I do prefer a more slim fit so the sizing was perfect for me. Styling is minimal and very clean which is exactly what I was looking for. Three zippered pockets all with a paracord loop for ease of use. Stitching and materials are all great and expected at the price. The G1000 material is sturdy but don’t feel like they over-weigh the pants down. I do wish they would stretch alittle more for better maneuverability but I wouldn’t hesitate to throw these on for an easy to moderate hike. Also, the material does like to hold dog hair so just keep that in mind if you’re stepping out where you want to look cleaner. The biggest strength has to be that I can wear these for almost any occasion. If you like being outdoors and doing outdoor things, these are great. If you want a minimal, clean, slimmer-ish looking outdoor pants, these are it.

I have these in the grey and the suede brown. The grey were the old fit and the suede brown are the new fit. The new fit is a lot slimmer. Could have sized up to 50 but the larger size were to baggy around the seat. I'm not sure I'd buy them again with the new fit. The trousers themselves are great, you can wear them for casual use and still can look smart with the right top. The material is soft and comfortable. The zips are a let down, feel cheap for such an expensive pair of trousers. Only wore them for a casual hike once as I usually stick to synthetic fabrics but I was impressed. Wouldn't hike up a mountain in them though.

These used to be my favorite pants but the “improved inclusive fit is anything but and the quality control on the sizing measurements were wildly off. I’m a 33 and ordered a 34 and new pants were closer to a 31. Incredibly disappointing. I’d be weary of any “new inclusive fits”

I find the sizing on just about all Fjallraven's pants way too small in the thigh, including these. Its frustrating because they make a lot of good-looking products that I am willing to pay for, but none of them fit. Fjallraven does free alterations fyi, including taking in the waist, but even after going up 2 sizes from what my waist normally is, the thighs are still too tight. I hope they either go back to their old fit or come out with something new soon, all their pants are a write off for me until then.

Sorry to say this as I loved the previous version of this item, when i bought the new ‘inclusive’ re design its not good for me. F have made the leg circumference smaller, more fitted and that means i cannot use them, i already sized up the waist for my strong legs but now the waist would be far too big to fit. F - make a wider version please !!

Just good pants for every day. I bought them as an addition to the Vidda Pro Lite. I needed pants of a more formal style and made of slightly thicker fabric for cool weather. Comfortable, fits perfectly.

I bought two pairs of these now and they both don’t fit. It runs extremely small but from what I can tell if you change the waist to changes the leg sizing, I ordered my normal sizing. The waist was too small. The legs were fine. I went up a few sizes on the next pair now the waist fits, but the legs got too long even though the sizing didn’t technically change these are way too expensive for such poor quality control I would save your money if you can’t try them on in person

I really like the design of these trousers but they are held back by the unexpectedly warm fabric and the pockets which are bordering on small.

First putting on the elastic around the ankles may deter yo but once on you’ll really appreciate the elastic ankle. Really satisfied with the comfort and flexibility and security of the pant. It feels comfortable and entirely free. Perfect for a quick day hike, daily bike commute to work or everyday casual.
