Long, generous parka that reaches down over the rear and thighs. A perfect choice for changeable weather conditions; it protects against the wind and rain and the synthetic padding keeps you warm in really cold temperatures. Fleece-lined storm hood with metal wire and detachable faux fur edging. Eight pockets with plenty of room for essential items. Drawcord at the waist and two-way zipper with protective flap. This is an updated version of Fjällräven’s classic parka, now with sustainable fabrics and improved features and fit.

Have had it for 2 years now. One of THE best I've owned. I've been through 4 off the shelf ones through local normal stores, and there is a big difference between them. Not sure why people are complaining about the zipper, considering I'm your average monkey, i have no issues with it. I'm a winter hiker and fisherman in Alberta where we can get down to -40 c , and i loved every second being in this old school looking jacket. Me and my friends did little tests on out equipment when we go out, and when we did the swap of each other's jackets, they didn't want to give mine back. Price I know is high when you compare it to general purpose stuff out there, but remember this is a specialty store, and you do get what you paid for. I'm 6ft1" 170, but very long arms (aka the monkey), went with the large, fits perfect. I was an arc-ter guy. No longer! And just a note for you old school guys out there like me, do yourself a favor and check out the buck fleece jacket too, you will be impressed. Since then I've bought 4 toques the buck fleece the keb fleece and the ovik light. Love every one of them and am set up for all occasions. Next I've been waiting to try this waffle knit sweater in a large that they never seem to have on-line.

Attractive, warm, and very well made. Well worth the price. Rated warmer than a popular Canada Goose parka.

The fit is exactly as marked and the quality is better than any other jacket I have seen. It is super comfortable and kept me warm in heavy winds
I’ve been a loyal Fjällräven customer for years, and my previous parka lasted over 8 years and performed exceptionally well in Canadian winters. That’s why I didn’t hesitate to purchase this one—but unfortunately, it’s been a major disappointment. The jacket feels noticeably thinner and cheaper compared to what I expect from this brand. It does not provide adequate warmth, even in fairly normal winter conditions, which defeats the purpose of a parka. The fit is also slightly off, making it less comfortable overall. For the price point, I expected much better quality and performance.

-From Chicago: jacket keeps you warm in the cold windy Chicago winter. Excellent wind proof jacket. Can run warm with temps around 32 F. Main zipper can be finicky at times. Length and size is great, boxy cut. Ordered size large, 6’3” and 44L suit jacket size, and it fits well.

Overall I’m happy with this purchase. Comfortable and warm parka, lots of useful pockets. I feel good wearing this coat. My main complaint: the zipper is hard to use. It’s backwards from most men’s clothing zippers, with the pulls on the left instead of the right, and it’s a double zipper, which while convenient (e.g., zipping up from the bottom to sit down comfortably without unzipping entirely) can be difficult to align.

Both this for my son. He was very happy with this purchase.

Bought the Nuuk Park at the end of January when it was on sale. I'm 6 ft, 175 lbs, with a 36 in (circumference) chest. The small fit well in arms and over length but was too tight around the chest to facilitate any sort of fun or play in the snow and layering a sweater underneath was too tight, so I opted for a medium. The arms are longer than I'm used to but without storm-cuffs, the length is needed in covering the wrists of gloves and the Velcro helps get a good fit. The zipper is great, it just gets some getting used to it, and the two-way system is handy for venting when you get too warm. Other things I really like: the size and structure of the hood (it easily fits my wool toque); the soft fabric inside the zipper and how high up the collar goes; the snaps to cover the zipper; and all the pockets. The only thing that would be nicer to have is chest pockets that faced outwards (like on the women's version), so that hands could be rested inside them when waiting around. I haven't been able to test the parka in really cold weather but I don't doubt its ability to keep me warm. This morning was -25 C (-30C with windchill) in Winnipeg and I was too warm wearing a wool sweater. With snow pants and proper winter boots (I have Baffin's), and a bit of layering, I think I'd be comfortable down to -40C.

Warm, comfortable, functional. Lots of great pockets. Zipper is a bit finicky to start. I took mine to another level by replacing the faux fur hood cuff with a real coyote fur. Wish it had a natural insulation rather than poly, but cannot argue for the price. The material attracts dog fur like a magnet. All in all I love it.

Purchased this jacket for the harsh midwest winters and it did not disappoint. Extremely warm in sub-zero temps, versatile and looks great. Very happy with my purchase. I sized down due to other reviews that said they ran big, and the smaller size fits great
I love the quality and warmth the coat offers. Even during the coldest and wettest days the coat keeps me exceptionally warm and dry!

Great looking jacket and very warm! Zipper is easy once you get used to it. Lots of useful and well positioned pockets.

Great Parka, replacing my old LL Bean one.The only issue is a zipper, that is why it is not 5 stars.

Comfortable and warm in cold winter (-33 Celcius). I was always wearing a sweater underneath my previous jacket, but no longer with this new winter jacket
