Pockets are a bit weird as they seem to be tight even though they’re the right size. They’re my new favorite pants. I’ve had Ken’s, Ken agile winters and Greenland pants - and now these. Hand down my favorite, they’re airy, they have belt loops (uncommon for this style of pants) three pockets, stretchy. They’re just perfect for summer. Will need to buy another pair or two of them. They’re also quite tough, gotten them snagged on a bunch of rough surfaces and no rips or tears.

I was so happy with the initial release of these pants as they offered exactly what I wanted. I own three other Fjallraven trousers but non in the new "improved fit". The fit is nothing like what was previously offered. The 32 is far too small while the 34 is far too big. Its a strange sizing. Furthermore, the waist on these pants seems to sit uncomfortably high. If these had the older fit, they would have been absolute perfection. I'm disappointed owing such an expensive pair of pants that I don't enjoy wearing.

Came on here to see what other colours there is as I’m wanting another pair of these Abisko Trail Stretch Trousers…….and ended up writing this review..!! I do already have some other items of Fjallraven gear. These are now my ‘go to trousers’ when the weather is warmer here in England. I have had these about 6 week and initially they felt too hard wearing to be cool in warm weather, in a sense that they could be too warm…….they ARE hard wearing, but great in warmer weather and so I needn’t have worried(they were ideal in the warmer weather of Madeira)..!! The stretch in them is brilliant, either when hiking or for general use. I am a men’s UK size 30” - 32” and went for the 30”. A touch ‘snug’ but how I’d personally prefer them. Right, best go back to shopping….!!!

The craftsmanship and quality materials are exactly what you expect from Fjall. I sent these back for three reasons. 1) The taper below the knee wasn't strong enough. Not a fan of excess material in that area of a pant. 2) The stretch was nice & very comfortable, but the durability for anything other than high alpine(no bushwacking) or post hike pub probably fails. 3) When considering the materials used, many other manufactuers sell a similar pant for 50% less the cost.

I was looking for a light weight snug trouser with deep pockets but not too deep. These fit the bill perfectly. I’m well pleased. 10%.
