The Warmest Hat

I love this hat. I especially like to wear it when I walk my dog at night, when temps are often in the teens or twenties. It keeps my head and ears nice and toasty. I also got a compliment from the guy working the ski rental desk at Snowmass CO, so it must look cool too.

Lightweight, Comfortable & Versatile Hat

I bought this hat last year. It’s very comfortable to wear.. I find that I get itchy with wool hats so this is much better for me. It’s very lightweight and warm without being too hot. The ear flaps cover my ears completely when folded down and when you cinch in the cord this eliminates drafts to the ears. Packs down real small so easily fits into pockets without being bulky. I haven’t worn it in the rain but it’s small enough to be comfortable under a hood. The peak is also useful. My head size is 7.5” and the XL fits perfectly

Cool Look, Bad Execution

I wanted to love this hat. The mustard color looks great! It's a nice, light hat with a soft interior, and it looks interesting. But there's some huge flaws with this hat that makes it tough to recommend. 1. It doesn't cover your ears. I know everybody's ears are in different positions, but the ear flaps slope too far back to actually cover your ears fully. My ear lobes stick out the front, and in windy weather it really sucks. You can actually see this happening in the fourth product image! You can literally see the model's earlobes sticking outside of the hat. 2. There's an elastic cord lock (I don't know the technical term) on the back of the hat that allows you to tighten it. This rubs up against your jacket to create noise that travels through the hat, directly into your ears, and basically makes you deaf. If you've ever watched a GoPro video where they put the camera underwater, and it's shaking around in its case, that's what it sounds like.

Great Hat... But Watch The Sizing

The hat is warm and comfortable but I took off a star for the sizing. I normally would wear S/M, but in this hat I took a L/XL. S/M was child-sized. Not sure L/XL would fit someone with a large head.

Nice, Light And Warm

I have used the hat for late night dog walks in inclement weather. It is comfortable and light on the head. It does run small though so you need to keep that in mind should you have an adult sized head.

I purchased this hat as a birthday gift for my Dad to wear hiking in the winter. The material is comfortable against the skin (even on a bald head :) and the hat provides good protection for the head and ears against the cold and wind within being very bulky.

Great Cap.

This is an excellent winter hat. Morning temps have been ~8F, and the cap has kept me warm during my short bike ride to work. It is very versatile and I'm able to regulate my temperature while working outside. The cap packs down small and can easily fit into a pocket. It has some water resistance but will get wet in heavy snow--easily remedied with a hood. I'm rough on gear, so I'm curious to see how long it will last me. Great product!

Great Hat! Wish Ear Flaps Were 1/2 Inch Longer.

I really like this hat! It is lightweight, packs easily into my jacket pocket, and is warm but not too warm. I wish the ear flaps were about 1/2 inch longer, and I also wish it came in black. Overall, though, very pleased.
