Look Great, Feels Cheap

I was kinda iffy about buying this brand, I have heard really good stuff or really bad stuff but never an "in the middle" review. So this combo looks great, the Rod has great action but the reel has room for growth. The reel feels cheap, the brake system is very touchy and the adjustment knob feels like something off of a wind-up toy, after dialing it in I spent the first 20minutes fighting with a bird nest from HELL. I usually dial my baitcasters in very conservatively at first and slowly open them up. This one may work amazing someone else but for me, Not a Fan.

Great Combo

I picked one up for my brother as a gift and liked it so much I went back and bought one for myself. Handled 30-40” striped bass like a champ.

Rod & Teel

I haven’t actually fished with it yet. I put line on it & through a practice plug around the yard. The teel is smooth with good action on the rod.

Great Combo For The Price.

The reel is alittle narrow but still perfectly use able. Casts beautifully but has a little "slop" in the handle when reeling. Rod is decent weight with nice sensitivity.

Not Good At All

Just go this from the store today when I first got it I noticed that when I reel the entire rod shakes I was like okay maybe it won’t do that with a lure on i put line on the reel and Put a lure on the rod still shakes and I can’t even cast it the line doesn’t come out when I push the button I have put the tension spool to the lowest setting and no line would come out when I push the button

So Far So Good

So far I'm very impressed with this combo. I have already caught a few fish on it and it's amazing. I have the brakes turned completely off and the tension knob set perfect and it casts super far and super smooth. Great reel so far

Nice Rod

This is a great rod. This rod is great for getting good distance. It's also a good accuracy rod. You also have a little higher profile then most baitcasters so you can get a real nice grip. The spool opening fits my thumb perfectly. You can also skip really good with it and a plus for me is the star drag clicks. Thats not super important but I like the clicks in my star drag.

Horrible Reel On This Combo If You Want It For The Rod Go Ahead

Got this a week ago the reel is cheaply made. Contact customer service to confirm warranty registration and they said its not available to register yet as its brand new and not on their site yet.
