Cord Shorts Answer The Call
I picked up these shorts a while back on a trip to Rosemary Beach, FL. They were on sale near the end of the season, so it felt like a little win.
Funny thing—when I was a kid, I stayed as far away from corduroy as possible. I thought it was hot, heavy, and basically unwearable in summer. Turns out, I was wrong. These are light, soft, and actually pretty perfect.
They’re a mid-wale corduroy that already feels nicely broken-in. Four pockets in total, with a hidden little zipper pocket inside (which I’ve never seen on another pair). The back right pocket even buttons, so it’s good if that’s where you usually keep your wallet.
Comfortable, easy, and a little unexpected—definitely changed how I think about corduroy shorts.
