Couldn't Be A Better Blanket!
I am not prone to gushing over products...but I'm gonna gush for a second about this blanket! When it first arrived, I wasn't sure I was even going to like it. The tactile feel actually reminded me of the old school issue sleeping bags from my Army days. The materials are just very different from any of the other dozens of camp blankets I've owned, but after crawling under it the first time, all misgivings disappeared! In an instant! The weightiness is perfect, the materials soft. I took it to the woods literally the day it arrived and in overnight temperatures from mid 60s to mid 50s it could not have been more comfortable. Unlike my Rumpl (and other "tech" material blankets), it stays in place! Huge plus in itself! It was as warm and as cool as I needed. (I typically sleep very warm!) Best part? In already humid Wisconsin, this blanket did not feel soggy, or even damp! It stayed consistently, perfectly comfy in all reportable ways! I initially balked at the price and adding yet another blanket to my camp store, haha, but this is worth every penny...and, i think it is probably time to let some of the others now go! I've owned (and paid for!) Thermarest, Rumpl, Nemo, Pendleton and some other branded products and this blanket is my new- and I'd believe forever-fav. I paired it with the MegaMat which I also outfitted with the Luxewool mat pad. Both excellent products! Great line! No regrets. Recommend with zero hesitation.

Love This Blanket
I run hot, and don't tolerate synthetic materials in clothing or sleeping materials. I get over heated easily in a regular sleeping bag and consequently don't sleep well. This blanket (and the LuxeWool sleeping bag) are the answers to my prayers for better camping options! I can use the blanket in warmer conditions, the sleeping bag in cooler conditions, and both together when its really cold. Yay!

So Cozy
I love this blanket. Almost too warm for 55°F summer nights, but I can always throw a leg out. The manufacturing and materials are quality, as expected. It's relatively light for car camping but still dense and has a nice heft to it. My only complaint is the lack of cleaning instructions. Nothing on the tags or the website. How does one clean a cotton/wool combo blanket?? I'm getting around this by using a duvet, but am kind of sad about that because the cotton materials of the blanket feel so nice.

Just The Right Weight!
I think XP really got this blanket right not only does it have a good weight to it, but it's also extremely comfortable and warm. I like that the cotton fabric on one side feels very soft but durable, and the wool side is warm and comfortable on the skin. I cannot wait to try it with the new luxe mat when it is available. I think the two combined will take camp/van bedding to a whole new lever even over megamat!
