Just What Was Needed

Replaced the tip on a medium/light rod that had a cracked insert. Much easier and cheaper than replacing the insert itself, but a few things jumped out. 1) Using superglue instead of the supplied cement made things quicker and cleaner. 2) The smallest diameter tip was still a little too large for the rod. If you are using light graphite rods you may need something to fill the space. I can't see using the larger tips unless I break a rod lower on the blank.

Waste Of Money, Glue Does Not Handle Summer Heat

I question the other reviews on this product because the glue only lasted about a month before it softened in the heat of summer and loosened it's grip.

The instructions when yoi follow them, makes a mess and a sloppy repair.would be nice if these were offered in silver as well.a tip for people, don't follow the directions.iost shoot hot glue from a gluegun into the hole and quickly install.this is my second time buying these and that is what i did and so far looks and is holding up great.

Great Tips With Several Sizes To Fit Your Rod

Tried these to repair a broken tip on an expensive rod. Heat glue up and applied the new tip. Seems to hold well so far. Cheap salvage of an expensive rod.
