Cheap, Flimsy Stadium Seat.bob33

Bought the stadium seat yesterday at the Edwardsville, Il. store. It seamed like a fair price but couldn't find a single salesperson to answer questions on this stadium seat so I went online to find out more information. It said it was rated up to a 250 lb person and could be mounted to either a bleacher seat or a canoe seat for extra back support. The seat mounted to my canoe with adjustable straps that you can tighten and clip to lock in place. The chair back has a strap to adjust to keep the seat back vertical. I weigh 150 lbs. and went I sat on the stadium seat and slightly leaned back, the plastic locking clip broke and both I and the seat flew backwards in the canoe. The strap and locking clip should not be rated for a person weighing 250 lbs. I'm 150 lbs and I would not rate this seat to be used by anyone other than a small child weighing less than 70 lbs. The adjustable side straps hold the seat back vertical are very flimsy and would not support only a small child. This stadium seat was reasonably priced but you get what you pay for it. I will be returning the seat today to see about ordering a much sturdier constructed stadium seat. I would not recommend anyone purchase this seat except for a small child under 70 lbs.

Worthless Chair.

I bought two of these for a concert. Because of the metal frame, I assumed it would be supportive, but I could not lean back at all, even with the strap pulled tightly. It was better to sit on the ground. I am 6’ and 200 lbs, so maybe this would work for a child or small adult, but it was worthless for me. Thankfully, one was unused, and Dick’s accepted the return. I am writing this review so people know what to expect, just don’t hope for a supportive chair.

Compact Chair

Sturdy compact chair. Very lightweight and easy to carry. Not bulky at all. The cushion is firm and comfortable. I was able to lean back some and felt secure but definitely doesn’t recline. It does have straps to secure to the seat to stay in place. Overall not a bad chair. Fit me just fine but fit my kiddo a little better.

Great Option For Sitting At The Bleachers

The Dick’s Sporting Goods stadium seat was a nice asset for taking to watch games. It’s very easy to carry and store. It’s lightweight and best of all adds comfort to my seat. With the buckled strap that can be used under the bleacher, it keeps the seat secure and stable. While it wasn’t overly cushioned, and the backrest isn’t stiff; it is an improvement over no seat at all and does make sitting better.

Ready To Go Right From The Box

This product is perfect perfectly fine. I’ve had it for a couple months now I might’ve used it once - there’s nothing wrong with it. It was ready to go right out of the box the design and the way it looks fine the way would sit on a seat is fine, however, I tend to not sit still when I go to my kids, sporting event events, and so the seats sort of just sits in the house. I’m glad to have it. I would absolutely take it for in-laws or other relatives but it’s not something that is so great that I take it and want to use it at every single event. Can’t beat the price and I’m sure it will come in handy. Eventually it’s just not an everyday use type thing.

More Reclinerable

Mildly comfortable seat. Not as reclinerable as I would have liked it to be. Straps make it secure. Convenient compact design for easily carry. With shoulder strap, that is padded to make it comfortable to carry or to grab out of vehicle on the way to the game.

Compact And Comfortable

This chair is very comfy, light and easy to transport to a game or use on the poolside like I do. I haven't tried it on bleachers but it works well when sitting on my pool edge.

Nice Lightweight Portable Chair

Nice chair that provides good back support. It is light with and easy to carry. Doesn’t take up to much space either unlike some other stadium chairs I’ve used in the past. Overall nice chair.

Comfortable, Very Easy To Install. The Backrest Helped As My Wife And I Are Seniors And. We Need The Support.

We used them for grandkids track meets, will be greatly appreciated during football season.

Great Minimalist Option!

Very light weight for carrying. Easy to pack up in the car if you have a lot of sporting gear. It feels sturdy for how light it is. I have seen other parents with enormous bleacher seats and they look ridiculous, so you won’t be one of those people. No assembly is required. It’s much better than the bleachers and well worth it. If you’re a very large person this won’t work, but if you’re under 250 it’s a good buy if you’re stuck on aluminum for hours. It has a strap to connect to the seat that is handy.

Really Sturdy, Really Comfortable

I wasn’t sure how great this chair would be at first. After trying it out for a bit it’s really comfortable. I like that the frame is metal and has a nice carrying strap. It’s easy to strap to the bench and doesn’t move when you stand up or sit down. I wish the chair pad was a little thicker but it’s still a great chair.

This stadium seat is lightweight, rugged, comfortable and easy to fold and unfold. It secures to the bench and is adjustable for a snug, secure fit. The seating position is nice, upright position. The material is easy to clean and holds up to the inevitable rain.

Comfortable And Easy To Take Anywhere

Overall, I am happy with this stadium seat. It’s comfortable, lightweight and easy to bring along to any sporting event or concert. The biggest downside for me is the straps used to tie it to the bench. They seem a little flimsy and I am not fully convinced about how durable they will be over time. That said, comfort and portability still makes it a good option for sitting on bleachers.
