My oldest son recommended darn tough socks for my college age son. So I go them, and they are the best! Good for warm weather and cold. They don’t smell bad, even if in a pinch and you have to wear them more than one day. These are the only socks my son wears from now on.

I bought my first pair of these in 2020 and I’ve slowly converted my entire sock drawer to this style. They are the best balance between being lightweight and suitable for daily wear, but also providing good padding and remaining comfortable over years of use.

These socks are my favorite. I have been wearing them for years and have had NO problems. I do line dry them as they contain wool, and may shrink. But they wear well, and are as good as new after years of wear. The socks I just bought, Men's "Darn Tough" 1/4 sock are my 7th pair? I have worn them for years and they are indeed "Darn Tough". If you buy them you will NOT be disappointed.

Very comfortable socks. I love the idea that they are guaranteed for life, although my husband has some he has hiked hundreds of miles in and they are still as good as new. My husband loves them! He won't wear any other socks.

The look is great, the textured construction is all Darn Tough. But my bf is around a 13W up through a 14, which is squarely in the XL's supposed 12.5-14.5 range. When I got the socks in the mail I knew something was off. He could barely fit his foot in widthwise but the sock was waaay too long. Other reviewers note this as well so I know he's not the only one. Darn Tough, make your larger sizes socks a more typical width or please add wide vs narrow distinction on the sizing -- it matters!
